Monthly Rentals in Shinrone

We stayed at this Airbnb over the weekend and absolutely loved it. It’s located in the middle of nowhere – peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature. There’s very little internet signal, which for us was a huge plus. It’s the perfect place to disconnect from the outside world and just be present in the moment. Whether you’re looking to relax, recharge, or spend quality time with loved ones, this spot is ideal. Highly recommended for anyone needing a break from the noise of everyday life.

I can’t say enough nice things about this lovely cottage and the grounds. Quiet, serene and almost magical. John was very welcoming and had lots of suggestions about things to do and places to eat. Waking up on the morning and seeing the sheep almost at our door was truly a delight. And hiking the grounds to the lake was the perfect way to start the day. Don’t miss this one!

Carol was an exceptional host—warm, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive. The cottage itself was spotless and beautifully decorated, blending cosy charm with stylish, modern touches. Every detail felt carefully considered, from the chic interior design to the welcoming ambiance. I was greeted with fresh artisan bread and a selection of fruit, which was such a lovely and personal touch. It truly felt like a home away from home. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful, elegant retreat.

We were visiting to go by an old friends grave nearby, but in the end the location is really very convenient. We were an hour from Shannon airport which was nice because it was rural, but close. We had an extra few hours and popped down to Cork. We will stay here going forward if travelling to or from Shannon. Communication was excellent. Just all good!
