We had a great stay! Easy check in, great communication, lovely accommodations and amenities, and so close to the beach!

I have stayed with Kenneth several times. He is a wonderful host and the property is beautiful. The home has any and everything a person could need to have a wonderful stay! I truly can’t say enough good things about Kenneth and his properties!

The Sherlock Home is a great way to spend an evening. We had a wonderful time deciphering the various clues and conundrums! By staying the night we were able to work at a comfortable pace, took a break to get some dinner (got fish and chips to stay in character), returned and finished the puzzles with no time pressures. The puzzles themselves are clever, and the props are first-rate. There were several 'Oh Wow!' moments when we solved a particularly challenging riddle. If you like Sherlock Holmes (or if you just like solving puzzles), you need to stay at the Sherlock Home: It was one of the most fun evenings we've had in years!

Brian was very accomodating and offered a great place for us to stay. It was a stress-free week at the lake with a wonderful view. The weather was great, so we got to use the roll up door during the day which made the place very unique and enjoyable. We will be booking this house again in the future and recommending it for anyone wanting a great stay on the lake!

The place was peaceful, clean, and felt right at home. The host was so responsive and made sure we had everything we needed.

The kitchen was spacious and well equipped. All ages enjoyed the pool table and walking down to the dock. Back porch was a good gathering place. More than one person commented “this is my dream home”.

David is an outstanding host, and the fishing cabin is on an amazing property that allows for seclusion and privacy if you want to relax when not casting a line. As a host, David often checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed and would even sit with us and offer fishing tips, which helped me as a new angler. Overall, Toledo Bend is an outstanding lake with surprisingly low boat traffic and several available guides for both crappie and bass, and I would not hesitate to recommend staying with David at Jack's Anglers Hideaway.

I can’t say enough about this place. Literally fell in love with it. Super clean, location couldn’t have been anymore perfect. This was a last minute choice and was the best decision. The hosts were extremely nice and responsive. The recommendations for sights and food are something I will definitely be back for. I literally felt at home. The bed was so comfy! If you’re thinking about booking just do it you won’t be disappointed.

We absolutely loved staying at the Peacock Apartment. The place is even more beautiful than the pictures. All the reviews gushing about this place are true. The hostess was kind and understanding with our check-in, and it really was like a little Paradise in the middle of the city. The location is very easy to get to and close to a freeway. There are a lot of markets close by if you want to cook at home. We stayed in every morning and just enjoyed the gardens. There were also a lot of rocking chairs so it was so nice to just laze about. We will definitely be coming back here specifically the next time we come to Houston. Thank you so much Selia!!!

Absolutely a gem!!!!! LOCATION!!!LOCATION!!! LOCATION!!! The Zen Den was so adorable, perfect for a couples getaway. Very well put together and the aesthetic was just fabulous. If you're looking for a quiet, clean, comfortable, relaxing, central location place. The Zen Den it is. You will not regret your stay. We truly enjoyed our stay and loved that we were less than 10min to everything. Especially a skip and hop away from one of our favorite, Gaido's restaurant. Definitely will book again. Will absolutely be back. It’s the perfect stopping point on our way to Florida. Felt safe. Small yard area for my pup to run around and smell things. Comfy condo. Clean and vibey. Can’t say enough good things about it!

Our stay was so peaceful and pleasant! The homemade Greek cookies were the icing on the cake! Short drive to downtown, minimal street traffic and the cowboy tub was the perfect temp for an evening hangout! Will stay again!

Beautiful little apartment with an amazing view! And such a great location, only a couple minutes drive to the convention center and restaurants. And The hosts were so helpful and quick to respond to questions, I would definitely recommend saying here.

Excellent stay! I felt right at home and was easily able to work from Yvonne’s place while visiting family in Houston.

We had a great stay; everything was comfortable and we were able to relax and decompress. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Sitting on the front porch reading and listening to the fountain, that was the most relaxed I’ve been in a long time. This place is perfect for a couple’s long weekend getaway.

Debra was the best host. The place was so relaxing. We enjoyed the pier, kayaks and fishing. We will definitely revisit. 😊

The host truly goes above and beyond—everything is comfortable, well-stocked, and thoughtfully prepared to help you unwind and enjoy every moment. They really put their guests first, and it shows. My partner is visiting from New York, and as a local, it’s been such a joy to share this peaceful, nature-filled escape. It’s also worth mentioning how kind and helpful the maintenance guy has been—super friendly and quick to assist with anything we needed. The entire team clearly cares about creating a great experience. It’s also an LGBTQ-friendly space, which made us feel especially welcomed and safe. Overall, just an amazing getaway—we honestly didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend!

Wow, what an awesome hidden gem 💎!! We had the best time and everything was precisely as described!! Patti is an excellent host and goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable!! Our daughter and her friends had a wonderful time kayaking down Petite Anse and sunbathing on the deck overlooking the bayou!! I had the best time fishing and soaking up all the scenery of the wildlife and landscape…. My husband said “he was in the clouds” whilst he slept in the very comfy bed downstairs!! Pristinely clean and very well stocked with all amenities!! All the sweet lil extras was a welcome treat!! TY Will definitely be back!! 💯 🙏🙌💖🎣🥂

Wonderful long weekend at the perfect home away from home! The house was beautiful inside and out! Fresh and clean with great bathrooms, big cozy beds and bedrooms and a kitchen/living area with a peaceful southern view! Outside had easy parking, lots of native trees and a big front porch to enjoy a cup of coffee on! Far enough away from town to have a quiet place to enjoy with your family. Close enough to several towns to enjoy some great restaurants, shopping and fishing for us! Will was an excellent host! He kept us updated with anything we needed to know and was always reachable! Fantastic place!
