Great, quiet place, close to the Ring Road and all the attractions!

We felt very comfortable in the small cottage. It was very cozy and warm even when the storm was raging outside. The location was great. Quick to the Golden Circle and the south coast and you could also see the Northern Lights very well.

We can’t fault our stay here. The accommodation was super clean, it was brilliantly placed around the majority of the landmarks and the insulation was keeping it very toasty even in colder temperatures! We also used the kitchen to cook some of our own meals which was handy, given it can be costly to keep eating in restaurants and cafes. The ONLY thing we’d change is maybe slightly more room to cook, but this is absolutely minor and you can easily cook good food with what you have. Loved it here! :)

What an absolute hidden gem Hafsteinn is hosting. Very peaceful area but perfectly connected with the rest of the Region. Well equiped property. We wished we could've stayed longer!
