Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Scottish Borders

No doubted with SUPER cleaning and warm room, location is good, very close to the central road, super market nearby. The host is very nice and kind with spiritual soul, which is obviously by the plants on the window, because they all survive prosperity.( Where my favorite place is seating by the window).

ARUN was a great host and quick to respond the room is clean and comfortable and very quite we had use of the kitchen and bathroom which where both well equipped and clean . The bus is a few minutes walk that takes you right into the centre of town and runing all day and night there is takeaways close by and a tesco express too. We had a great stay here and would go again it's an ideal location and great host we even got a text while out of places to visit ! Thanks again danny and steve

I had a lovely one week stay with Sandra. The area is gorgeous and with has all the essentials within walking distance, including the bus stop to head into the heart of the city. Sandra is a very warm and welcoming host who was a pleasure to stay with.

It was amazing and i would love to stay there again if i get any chance to visit scotland again

Ben was a wonderful and friendly host! He even left out some bread to share in the kitchen. :) The room was perfect for a short stay and had all the amenities you would need. The ladder up to the bunk bed was a little squeaky and steep, but still manageable. A very charming, quaint apartment. Would stay here again!

First time at this type of Airbnb so was a bit nervous. 2 night stay, Collecting daughter from Uni & refused to pay the extortionate Edinburgh prices! Josh was a great host, even tho he was in the property I only saw him twice and once was when I accidentally walked in on him! Great private room, own private modern bathroom literally 3 paces outside of bedroom. Own tv & desk & wardrobe. Josh offered me the use of kitchen which only needed to make a cuppa but was a welcome option. Nice pub, co-op, Indian takeaway & Pizza Hut 5 mins walk away. Private parking. Edinburgh was around 30 mins drive away. Only thing I might have liked was a lock on my room door but I felt so safe & secure wasn't an issue really. Will definitely return👍

Louise's proposed room was really clean, the neighborhood is quiet, not a sound. By car Edinburgh is very quickly accessible. Self check-in is really a plus, because we arrived very late. Unfortunately, we did not meet him, however, he was very responsive by message. we spent two nights there. it was really nice.

If you're browsing on Airbnb looking for a place to stay in the area, don't hesitate and book here, the house and garden are fabulous, the room and view are beautiful, and the hosts are super helpful and friendly.

Mark is a friendly, good-humored host. We communicated effectively before my check-in so that he was home to greet me and show me the amenities, which are all the ones listed on this app. What I liked the most was the bedroom, which had clean bed sheets and a comfortable bed. I had a good night’s sleep every night, as the area is quiet and so is Mark, even as he leaves to work pretty early. Secondly, but just as important, I appreciated that the bus stop is right outside: buses to the city centre stop there very frequently. I wanted a place to come back to easily after a day of visiting the touristy places but also connecting with the beautiful nature in Edinburgh. Overall, I think Mark’s place was the right one for me.

the stay was great. I had first Problems with finding the right house but i hope she has updated the address by now :D. Sophie and her two cats welcomed me and showed me the accomondation. I had my own bathroom as well. She offered me also to drink some of her selfmade wine. it was a lovely stay. I had also a great time in the pub she recommended me. it was great thank you.

What a wonderful stay! Well stocked kitchen instruments for cooking at home, comfortable beds, lovely bathrooms with great water pressure and temp! Lovely area - I took a run to the park by the battalion which led to a run to the reservoir! Beautiful, didn’t want to leave!

It’s absolutely a wonderful stay there with Karen and Buddy ! The house close to the beach 🏖️ you can must walk 2 minutes to enjoy the sunset 🌅 and it’s also 5minutes only to the bus stop which leads to central town and railway station , everything is very convenient and friendly to visitors. I’ll come again !

Shilpa and her husband were great hosts. Really kind and attentive. Communication was very easy and they were available anytime to respond questions. The house was exactly like the pictures showed. A room and a private bathroom. Everything was clean and organized. I would recommend 100%. Thank you Shilpa! 😊
