Holiday rentals with a patio in Scottish Borders

we had an amazing stay. the hosts were brilliant with directions, local things to do. we were staying for a wedding close by. They offered us a lift to save a taxi fare ( not needed but very much appreciated) pointed us in the direction of the river so my wife could go for a wild swim. the dogs are great and came with us whilst we were outside and super friendly. the accommodation was perfect for our needs and we will definitely return for another peaceful stay in Northumberland. we left super early to go collect the kids after the wedding and we were given bacon rolls in lovely cheese bread bun. so nice and got us through the long drive. 10/10 stay thank you so much for hosting us. This place is my heaven. Each morning I would look out at the view in complete awe. Claire, her husband, the place and location were absolutely amazing. I can’t wait to come back.

Perfect for our short break. Spotlessly clean and modern interior, private secluded parking was a bonus. Ted was a great host and met us on arrival. Would definitely recommend!

Wow this really is a beautiful place to stay! Great location for exploring the Borders region, and that view of the Abbey from the bedroom window is something else! It was very homely with lovely furniture, an EXTREMELY comfortable bed (and I'm very fussy about my beds), and a lovely shower and well stocked kitchen. I would highly recommend June's place

Damian’s place was great! Close enough to hop on a bus and be to town within a few stops, but also super quiet at night. A great little grocery store around the corner. It was clean and stocked with all the essentials we could have needed! Also, quick to respond with any questions we had about directions, with many tips that we did end up using! Thank you, Damian, for the stay!

We had a great time (2 couples) and we would really have liked to have stayed longer but work gets in the way! Kath & Ken were responsive and always helpful but not obtrusive. Maybe a little expensive but you pay for what you get.

I had a lovely stay in Midlothian. The house was clean, peaceful, and very comfortable. It was a perfect base to explore Edinburgh and the surrounding area. The host was friendly and helpful, and everything was just as described. I truly enjoyed the stay and would love to return in the future. Highly recommended!

This lovely cabin ticked all the boxes required to suit 7 adults from families coming together from afar, different generations, and physical abilities. Spacious yet cozy. The conservatory table was perfect for hysterical games of UNO while the weather dazzled us with its fickle self outside the giant windows, shifting from glorious rainbows over the hills, thunderous rain, and sparkling sunrises. Walks from the cabin were enjoyed by everyone. A Park and Ride into Edinburgh and a short drive to Peebles made days out easy. We had an unexpected plumbing issue and it was sorted out immediately while we were out. All said they slept well and the shower pressure/supply of hot water is fantastic. Underfloor heating is great. would happily stay again!

Me and my friends visited this property, and this is one of the best properties we stayed. It was so beautiful and homey. Norrane is very lovely lady. She also guide us with all nearby places and afcourse, if we are coming back to Edinburgh then definitely would like to stay here again...

Lovely cottage. Clean and functional. A great location for trips to Scotland and Northern England as it was located right on the boarder. Lovely surroundings with the river tweed literally down the end of the road. We had a lovely box of chocolate biscuits waiting for us , with teapot, cups and saucers, with some milk in a jug in the fridge. Sadly we couldn’t enjoy it on arrival as we didn’t bring any coffee or tea. As we arrived late after 10 hours of travel the shops were closed, so we had to hold out until the morning when we found the local village shop. The garden wasn’t as private as the picture shows, it’s was very open and backed onto a hotel garden where people were in the garden playing and kicking the children’s ball over the low fence into the garden. Once the hedge fully grows it would be a lot more enjoyable to sit in the garden as it’s beautifully presented.

My family and I loved our stay at Usman’s place. We came into Edinburgh after staying in Dublin for several days near the city center which was loud and bustling. We were ready for some quiet time. The home is beautiful and located in a nice neighborhood. There was awesome walk ability at this home and we were able to get to the tram easily to go into the city and explore and see the water at the end of the line. We also easily walked to get groceries at a local convenience store. Usman was communicative and helpful. We would absolutely recommend and would stay again upon a return to Scotland.

We had a wonderful stay, really wish we had more time to spend in the house. It is a gorgeous property, filled with character, in a really friendly area. House is so cosy on a night, the children loved the house too. Hot tub is a lovely bonus, just need a baby sitter so we could spend more time in it next time. Would highly recommend!

This upstairs apartment in a charming Scottish village gave us a peaceful, cozy home base while exploring the Dunbar area. We appreciated the high-speed internet, up-to-date appliances and super-comfy sofa. Robert is a very responsive, helpful host who answered all our questions promptly.

We had a great stay at Anthony's ground floor apartment. Apartment was great and super spacious. Location was great, all the necessary things like public transport, Grocery shops and restaurant even maximum attractions of Edinburg are at walkable distance. Parking was super although we didn't require. Check-in was very smooth with clear instruction. Additionally the host was incredibly kind, helpful and responsive. Darly Primary School bus stand is just out side the campus of Society. I would highly recommend the place to stay and explore Edinburgh attractions with ease.

Really comfortable stay and very well stocked in terms of kitchen supplies, games, books and cds. Spacious house and comfortable beds. Beautiful garden.

Lovely quiet area. Fantastic dark curtains to keep the bright nights out. Comfortable bed with crisp linen. Soft fluffy towels and the best shower we have had in Scotland!

Jane is a super host, cottage was beautiful, decor fab. Spotlessly clean . Great location ,so easy to walk to Melrose , which is a fantastic village ! Felt so relaxed and at home ! Would definitely recommend this property. A fantastic find . Thank you Jaa as me for making our stay so special.
