Unwind with fabulous views in the Scottish Borders

JillRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Had a glorious few days at this stunning property. Fabulous views, I could have spent the whole trip just looking out of the window. Natalie was a great host, very helpful and responsive. She has thought of everything you could possibly need and we wanted for nothing. The property is so spacious, there were 6 adults and a baby in our group and at no time did we feel on top of each other. If you like peace and quiet, beautiful views and the great outdoors, this property is ideal. Would love to return and explore more of this beautiful area. Thank you 😊

An Historic Gatehouse on the River Teviot

PatriciaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It is situated at the entrance to a lovely park and a great place to stay to explore the Scottish Borders. It is easily walkable to the local supermarkets and restaurants. Do be aware that a lot of the restaurants are closed in the evenings on Sundays, Mondays or both. We would recommend the Santa Marina Italian. Sam's home is very cosy and comfortable. It is very clean and the kitchen is very well equipped. It is dog friendly. We would certainly go back if we visit the area again.

A House on the Hill: Highfield farm cottage (4+1)

MelanieRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We, a family of five, enjoyed wonderful four nights in the lovely House on the Hill which was exactly as described. A great plus was the tennis court, that was very well received by our children. Walking the dog was a great experience. We used the farm cottage to explore Scottish Borders, Northumberland and of course Edinburgh. We would certainly come back and highly recommend this lovely place!

The Gegan - Coldingham Sands Scotland

SaraRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This was a great holiday, away from the bustle of city life. The house is beautifully located and very comfortable and homely. It is close to the beach but at the same time private and quiet - except for the sound of the sea! There are some lovely trees and bushes in the garden. The coast , cliffs and inland countryside are all very attractive and it is easy to get away from people if you want to. Helene has is all respects been a considerate and informative host, being proactive in contacting us and seeing that we were OK about arrangements and settling in. We spent 8 nights at The Gegan, wish we could have stayed longer - we would love to return in the future.

Charlton Gate

John And JillRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A stunning, isolated location in the Northumberland National Park with superb all-round views and the market town of Bellingham just a short drive away. We so enjoyed staying here. The cottage is stylishly and comfortably furnished with many personal touches - pictures, ornaments and books - and very well equipped throughout. It is well laid out with boot room, shower room and a well designed kitchen area which leads on to open-plan dining and lounge area - spacious and hospitable. The two bedrooms are again very well furnished with plenty of storage and very comfortable beds. In keeping with the rest of the cottage there is a lovely bathroom nearby. The cottage has good off-road parking, a lovely all-round garden and outdoor furniture. The front of the cottage catches the morning sun with splendid views into the distance. We have been before and shall return again.

Spacious open plan luxury house with hot tub

GaryRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Brilliant accommodation in a lovely part of the country. We used it as a base for our annual golf society trip and it was perfectly located with loads of courses within 30min drive. The hot tub was a real hit with the group and the place was very spacious. Great views from the balcony and the huge dining table area was great for group meals. We especially loved the games room which got plenty of use. And with ample parking and easy access, making this place a 10/10 for us. Communication and instructions from our host Emma were excellent too. Highly recommend this place.

We had a lovely stay at Eyemouth holiday park in the caravan. The location is fantastic, short walk to Eyemouth beach and loads to do in the area. Kerr responded quickly to any of our questions and was really helpful. I’d definitely come back.

Eyemouth Holiday Lodge

ClaireRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Beautiful lodge in a lovely location with stunning views. The pictures don’t do it justice, and much bigger than we thought. Lots of extra towels / bedding, well equipped kitchen and a tv in each room (which the teenagers were very happy about!). Easy check in and Rebecca was a great host - easy check in and gave us lots of recommendations locally. We had a lovely holiday here and will definitely be back soon :)

We were attending a wedding in a nearby village, this was a perfect location for us , easy to find ,lovely and peaceful and plenty of room for the 4 of us. Everything was simple and straightforward. Everyone was very friendly and the Bellingham had all the local amenities we needed. The added bonus was the use of the hotel swimming pool. Would highly recommend.

Samieston Lodge

FionaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a wonderful stay! Sarah added lovely touches like fresh flowers and delicious shortbread, which made us feel so welcome. The big garden was perfect for our dog, who absolutely loved exploring. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, we enjoyed watching the local wildlife and farm animals. A truly peaceful and charming getaway — we can’t wait to come back! A slight problem with the hot water and Sarah was great. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend

The Hemmel, Old Town Farm

RobertRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Could not fault The Hemmel at all. Absolutely beautiful. The accommodation, surroundings and view was exceptional. Ezra our labradoodle loved the enclosed garden. From the greeting off Kate, the beautiful homemade cake and flowers left for us, watching the red squirrel and the beautiful Northumbrian countryside and beaches, there was nothing we did not like about our stay. If we decide to come back to this neck of the woods, this would be our first pick. Five stars and beyond.

Many thanks to Ed and family for allowing us to stay in what is a truly exceptional place. Staying in the cottage was like travelling back in time balanced with modern amenities and comfortable touches of home. All of this whilst having beautiful and carefully preserved wilderness on the doorstep. A really special place and so glad we could stay here, we hope to stay again.

Private wing of pretty Victorian hunting lodge

JeanetteRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We absolutely loved our 3 night stay in this oldie worldie, unusual, full of character, spotless, home from home. Wonderfully squidgy couches to sink into, extremely comfortable beds, probably one of the best equipped kitchens we have had the privilege of using in all of the Airbnb's we have stayed in. One of the first things I look for when searching for a place to stay is the size of the beds then the cleanliness, then the reviews in general - Corrie didn't disappoint. Fabulously comfortable king size beds, snowy white linen (yes I am fussy) The home gave you a cuddle! A wonderfully peaceful place to unwind, chill out and relax. Andy was a through gentleman who was amusing, informative with great ideas of where to go what to do. He was always there but totally unobtrusive. Would I recommend Corrie? A positive 101%. If we are ever in the area again this will be first on the list of our bookings. Thank you Andy for a great stay.
