Family-friendly holiday rentals in Scottish Borders

Great location. Clean and well equipped. Comfortable beds. Only short walk to grass market area, where there are plenty of bars and restaurants.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was immaculate which made it comfortable to relax. The hot tub was a highlight for the whole family. The water was sparkling clean. The location was picturesque & convenient. We had a great time cycling & visiting local attractions.

We visited with 2 children, a baby and a dog. It was quite cramped but we knew this would be the case when we booked. The setting is beautiful with a lovely enclosed garden and private hot tub area. Emma was very responsive to all Messages sent before our stay clarifying things that were included such as the size of the dog crate, and also whilst we were there. The bothy was clean and had lovely extra touches such a dog treats and a welcome hamper. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Really lovely place set in the countryside. The place is very modern and looks great. It is a quiet peaceful site. The hot tub is a great addition to the outside space. There was a booklet of recommendations to visit and we did a few, so this was appreciated.

We were cycling in the borders, this was a great stop over, brilliant, had everything we needed, very comfortable, couldn’t want more.

Kennels Cottage was everything and more. The perfect base for a relaxing getaway. While being spoilt with the weather, after a day exploring the grounds and surrounding areas, the hot tub was the ideal end when the cooler evenings set in. Peaceful surroundings, beautiful gardens and the cottage had everything we needed, set up and ready on arrival with a delicious lemon drizzle waiting. Check in was quick, easy and painless, Olly was always on hand to answer any questions and even supplied us with some rackets and balls to have a go in the tennis court. Would return in a heartbeat and 100% recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at Jane’s cottage. The kids loved the hot tub in particular and our evenings were very cosy in front of the wood fired stove.

A group of 8 family and friends stayed here for a couple of nights for a concert at Murray Field,excellent location for both concert and socialising,shops close too,Audrey was so helpful with checking in and any questions we had,would definitely stay here again.

Another perfect stay at the Wee Trail House. Extremely comfortable home away from home. Hayley is a very accomodating and welcoming host. We can't wait to come back!

We are returning guests to this lovely cottage in Norham. Amazing location with lovely walks right from the doorstep. The accommodation is comfortable, homely and quirky. Slept very well. Lovely touch of a gift for dog on arrival. Outside space is a lovely private and secure sun trap. We will definitely be back!

Stunning house with so much character. We had a really wonderful family weekend exploring this beautiful part of Scotland.

We were a family of six, four arriving late and two early. Ronnie was extremely generous allowing my daughter and niece a very early and smooth check-in. Absolutely loved having a beautiful, private and peaceful backyard. Kitchen was generously stocked with tea, coffee, milk, cereal etc..(I apologize Ronnie for my glutinous family eating the whole basket of cookies, Lol). We all loved your home and wished we could have stayed longer, thanks again. Aundria

Great place in Edinburgh! It is a little ways from the main downtown but that’s a good thing since the royal mile is way too crowded, loud and crazy. There are restaurants, coffee shops and a grocery store super close. The apartment is spacious, beautiful and comfortable!

Had a wonderful stay at the Glenburnie Suite. Everything was lovely, luxurious and spotless as in the photographs. Everything provided was of a very high standard and we didn't want for anything. Our dog didn't want for anything either - lovely doggy guest bowls and a jar of dog biscuits. The setting was beautiful and it was wonderful to experience a small piece of the castle's history. A mention about the bedding - it was like sleeping on a cloud: so, so comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

This is a stunning, peaceful and really lovely place to stay. Set in beautiful surroundings with all that the Borders has to offer in terms of scenery and nature and yet close to the nearby towns with great pubs, cafes, restaurants, shops and people. The annex is clean, welcoming, well equipped, comfortable and homely with everything you could need...a home away from home. Nice little touches like fresh flowers, a bottle of wine, tea and coffee await you. Harry was really responsive, friendly and helpful with recommendations and advice. We especially loved the conservatory and private garden. Thank you very much for a fabulous stay.

A lovely apartment in a quiet location, with beautiful views from every window. Handily placed for Moffat's amenities, as well as the surrounding countryside- including Carrifran Wild Wood.

A lovely property in a great location. The house is very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and lovely bedroom. It is an ideal base for exploring this area of Northumberland, which is very attractive.(We were walking the northern stages of the Pennine Way.)

Highly recommend Vanessa’s place if your are visiting North Berwick. Very homey place with beautiful views and a very responsive host. Great location, as long as you have a car!
