Loved staying here! Joel was great - very thoughtful and responsive and made us feel comfortable! He added a lot of little touches that shows he really cares about his guests. The space was clean and full of the amenities we could have wanted. I wasn’t aware that we weren’t quite staying in a separate guest house but instead the bottom floor of the home he lives in. We could hear his big sweet dog running around upstairs - FYI in case you’re worried about noise. The drive between the house and main road takes about 3-4 minutes and is extremely steep with winding sharp turns on the side of a hill - wish I would’ve known that at booking, as it felt treacherous enough that I didn’t want to do the drive in the dark and thus felt the need to always be back at the house before sunset. All in all though, it was a great stay and the views were beautiful and have no regrets about it!

Cute and cozy studio with a kitchenette in a neighborhood close to freeway, UCSB and strip mall with grocery store, Starbucks, etc. The Gerrits asked what we needed for our coffee ahead of time and provided the decaf Keurig cups and oatmilk that we preferred. They also provided free bottled water and snacks too which was much appreciated! We stayed during a very warm weekend so we slept with the window open and fan on. Not sure if there is A/C in the unit though so check with the host if that’s a must have.

We had the most incredible stay! The property is stunning. Amenities in the unit are well beyond expectations and the hosts are gracious and thoughtful. They left a generous welcome basket with note and had everything we needed in the gorgeously appointed room. The bed was comfortable and the furniture was beautiful. Everything felt brand new and we wished we could have stayed for much longer. We'll definitely be back!

We absolutely loved Aaron’s place! We rented it for the first time while doing a shoot in the desert, and are so glad we did. We will be calling on this place to stay again in the future!

Julie and Steven’s spot was a perfect, peaceful getaway. Surrounded by the Santa Monica mountains, it’s only a short ride into town, making it easy to spend the day at the beach and come back to the quiet in the evening. Adorable bungalow. Extremely clean and well maintained. Very nice courtyard with safe parking. There were additional bungalows on the property but everyone seamed to be respectful and quiet. Only concern is it is right next to the free way and the house is old with thin windows and walls. Location was close to the beach and good places to eat but it didn’t always feel safe due to a homeless shelter near by.

We had a lovely stay at Cathy’s. Our Airbnb was lovely — so well stocked and so much bigger than we thought it was going to be. The location was perfect — walking distance from State Street, the beach, and the Funk Zone. We would love to stay again and definitely recommend it to everyone!

I grew up in Ventura, and when I wanted to bring my husband and son along on a trip back home with my mom this apartment was perfect for us. It’s close to downtown, we walked down there several times during our stay and the neighborhood is very safe and charming. The apartment was very welcoming and homey, my husband and son loved the hammock in the living room. When we come back to Ventura again to visit family and friends, we will definitely be looking to book this apartment again.

Wonderful Stay in Santa Barbara! I had a fantastic experience at this condo in Santa Barbara. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to great restaurants, shops, and the beach. It was so convenient to explore the area without needing a car. The condo itself was charming, clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Santa Barbara!

We had a great time! The loft is just a short walk from the beach, which was never crowded. We also got to see dolphins and a sea lion from shore! It's also a great staring point for a run along the shore.

This place is a hidden gem in Santa Barbara. Beautiful neighborhood, home has great outdoor and indoor space. I felt right at home. Host was extremely responsive and helpful. Would choose to stay here next time over other places.

The little quality details made this a top notch stay. Nice towels smelling great, comfortable couch, amazing and comfortable bedding. Felt like a home.

Great location to walk to botanical gardens and restaurants. Also did some great walking and running down by the beach without having to move the truck. Loved it, had everything I needed.

Had a great time! Geoff and Annika were great hosts. The sauna was so nice after a long hike. The place was clean, peaceful private, and easy to get to. Easy check in and out.

Great spot right next to the beach. We watched the sunset on the beach, took bike rides to the pier and spent countless hours in the jacuzzi. Check in was seamless and the garage was an added bonus. Keep in mind that it's a tight squeeze and an SUV will probably not fit in there. The host was very responsive and took care of an initial issue with the hot tub. It was one of the main reasons we booked it and we were glad he responded quickly.

We had an incredible visit to Santa Barbara staying here! Everything looked just like the pictures and the back patio was gorgeous. We loved the quick walk up to the beach and had no problem with taking the time to walk into downtown. We really appreciated Maddi’s recommendations for food, drinks, and hikes. Very convenient place, highly recommend!

Jason is an amazing host. He is very responsive and helpful. The cute place has everything you need for either a short term or a long term stay. It’s quiet but it has a lot of restaurants and stores within walking distance. Definitely will come back next time we visit Thousand Oaks.

As always when we've stayed before it was a marvelous experience, quiet, comfortable, & peaceful. The place was clean, prepared & well supplied for guests. We loved the closeness of the beach, however, the defining aspect for us is feeling relaxed & rejuvenated with each stay.

Great place. I've stayed there a couple of times already. Communication is always a breeze. Check in is automated and easy. The apartment complex is beautiful and the area is nice.
