Holiday rentals with lake access in Sandwich

Robert’s place provided us a nice peaceful escape for a long weekend getaway. His instructions were clear and recommendations were helpful, and his home is in a nice location, close by to all Falmouth has to offer.

We just finished a 4 night girls getaway for my Mom’s birthday. We can’t say enough about Adrianna and Tara’s cottage! We felt right @ home and there was such a peaceful vibe to the cottage. We were able to really relax and enjoyed beautiful sunsets with the fire pit going and wrapped in comfy blankets that they provided. They have thought of everything! The sauna experience followed by the outdoor shower was heavenly. We plan to make this an annual trip and this place is a 5+++, such an amazing stay🌸

Thanks for being a warm, friendly, and welcoming host Ragnhild! Enjoyed staying in this peaceful guest suite with a water view. The WiFi is also very fast, and I was able to seamlessly video conference on Teams. Would recommend Ragnhild’s place to any potential guests, especially remote workers.

The house and Tam were fantastic! Tam's attention to detail in both the house and how it was prepared for us made it super easy and stress-free to get settled. We had an amazing time!

We had a fantastic stay at this Cape Cod gem over Memorial Day weekend! The home was exactly what we needed for a relaxing family escape: clean, cozy, and incredibly well-equipped. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and easy. The hosts clearly put care into every detail, from the thoughtful amenities to the clear communication. Lauren was so responsive and helpful; and the gift basket with some goodies were well appreciated. It even had treats for our dog!! The location was perfect for exploring the Cape. We spent our days enjoying the beaches, despite the bad weather, charming local shops, and long walks together, then returned to a peaceful space where we could unwind as a family. Our toddler loved the backyard and the nearby private lakeside beach, and we loved having breakfast on the porch almost every morning. Everything was seamless and stress-free; a true rarity when traveling with a little one! We made lasting memories here and would return in a heartbeat.

Jacqui’s home was perfect for my family. The kitchen was well stocked as well as the bathrooms and bedrooms. The fenced in backyard was ideal for my dogs. Enjoyed the local seafood restaurants that were just a short drive. The home was located near art. 28 which made getting around very easy. Enjoyed my stay and would not hesitate to reserve again.

The house is amazing! It has everything that you would need and is so comfortable. The property is peaceful, and it feels like you’re on your own little island while still being minutes from stores and restaurants. We had a perfect weekend celebrating some milestone birthdays in our family.

Regarding the matter of value for what we paid: the addition of almost $1,000.00 in “fees” was a bit troubling and they were not stipulated in the original advertisement for the property. They appeared after we had booked the property. The location and the hostess were great! We had a little trouble with the electronic door lock. Overall, a very enjoyable stay!😊😊😊😊

This was a perfect little spot we could escape to for the long weekend! We could have our dogs which was a huge plus for us and plenty of space to walk around for them - although it is on a small country road - it's not busy traffic wise at all which is great. It's an 8 min drive (or uber - easy to get) to downtown falmouth so you're super close despite feeling super private in nature. Would absolutely recommend.

So lucky to have found this location for a weekend in Boston! Rofleza as a host was kind and helpful right from the start. She made things very easy for us, and her place was so clean and in a very nice neighborhood. Had a lovely hiking area down the street with easy access by car to the rest of the city. Appreciate our stay here and would definitely recommend.

Bill and Trish were amazing hosts, and they made sure the place was exceptionally clean. They even had fresh flowers for us when we arrived.

This cozy space in a beautiful coastal neighborhood was perfect for a 1-night stay for myself, my husband, and our two dogs. Hosts were friendly and easy to work with. We found everything we needed.

Megan's place was amazing and we loved our 17 night stay! We often stay in AirBnB locations when we travel and this was really fantastic. The location is perfect - so quiet and peaceful BUT super-close to everything in the area. The unit also felt like it was brand new; everything was in amazing condition and very clean. It was also incredibly full of light, which was lovely. Megan was traveling while we were there but her parents were there in the neighboring house and WOW - they were the nicest, kindest, sweetest, loveliest people you could ever meet. They really made it feel homey. And unfortunately, my husband and I both had come down with some health issues and Megan and her parents were all SO helpful with recommendations for urgent care and dentists. Amazing people and an amazing AirBnB location. :) Oh, and the washer/dryer were top-notch! One thing to note is that you might want to bring a sleep eye-mask as it gets bright in the morning in the unit.

We had a wonderful time !!! Dave and Diana are great hosts everything was better than expected. They let us know that the apartment was ready for an early check in ( we really appreciated that) Such a comfortable home with a beautiful view!!!! The home is stocked with everything you could possibly need. It was so easy living there we didn't want to leave. We were in the area to visit our grandchildren and having them over to the lake was perfect!!! God blessed us with beautiful weather and the house was stocked with beach towels, bug spray , sunscreen and snacks. Kudos Diana for thinking of everything👍 The grandchildren give the place a 5 star review and are calling it " our lake house" We only wish 😃 Thank you for sharing this wonderful place we hope to return again.

Our stay at Lisa's place was very pleasant. Her home is very nice with a lovely view of the lake and plenty of space for large families (we were only four people but can easily accommodate a few more). The neighborhood does not have a lot of car traffic which is great for walking and jogging around the lake. And it is also relatively close to Falmouth downtown and convenient stores. Lisa was very easy to communicate with and is very courteous and friendly. She really seems to care about her guests' comfortability. It was a pleasure dealing with her. Thank you, Lisa!

Carol is a great host. We had a small issue with the front door screen locking up and she came over right away and let us in. She is very responsive and responsible. I forgot my medication when I left and she was kind enough to mail it back to me immediately. She has a been a great host and I hope more hosts are like Carol. It rained the whole time we were there so we did not get a chance to check out the lakes around there but I am sure they are great. There is a mall near by with bowling so we did that instead. Linlin was a wonderful host and we loved this adorable cottage. It was incredibly clean, while still being warm and welcoming for us (and our pup). It's a little farther from the water than we had anticipated, but it's a relatively short and private walk to a dock with kayaks and beautiful views. Highly recommend!

Leah responded to my booking request within minutes. This was so important because our previous reservations fell through. This was a last-minute booking and I’m so thankful that I was able to find such a wonderful location. Everything that was in the listing was accurate and we felt right at home after an easy check-in process. I cannot thank Leah and Brandon enough for their willingness to let us rent their beautiful cottage last minute. The home is fully stocked with anything that we may have needed. It was a little chilly, but the space heaters were enough to get us through the chilly nights. My kids and I were able to watch Halloween movies on the TV while gazing at the full moon from the skylight above in the living room. I’m looking forward to going back to Massachusetts in the future. There are so many different things that this town and surrounding towns offer.

We had such a peaceful and relaxing stay! The setting was incredibly serene, and we felt completely at ease the entire time. All of the amenities, especially the boats and kayaks, were very accessible, and we used them throughout our stay — it really made the experience special. We also loved spending cozy nights around the campfire, which added such a warm and memorable touch. There was so much for the kids to do, and they had a fantastic time as well! The host was so kind and welcoming, and communication was very easy from start to finish. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, and it made for a truly wonderful getaway. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, fun, and family-friendly escape!

It is just perfect, I loved everything about it, a little private, intimate paradise in the middle of the cape, it had everything to make our stay even better than we could’ve expected. We had so much fun and as well we found so much peace. I will definitely stay here again when I come back to Cape Cod.
