Loved the cottage. Right on the lake and very secluded. Great place to relax and get some work done.

This was our third stay at the chestnut! We always have the best time! The hosts are so helpful and responsive. The fire pit overlooking the river is a favorite. We come to town often for travel sports and we love that we can turn our weekend away into a fun family memory at this great spot!

My family spent Easter at Mike and Julie’s. It was perfect for our family. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. We used the outdoor eating area everyday as we enjoyed the lake view. We had a great time kayaking and paddle boarding on the lake. All of the equipment was provided. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I got away without the kids for the first time in 8 years- what a wait! This place was just what we needed, it felt very private and was perfectly appointed for a couple. We really enjoyed using the soaking tubs and the open shower, we took the kayaks out 4 times over 3 days, and really enjoyed the deck and the kitchen. The kitchen had everything we needed- the lack of a full-sized oven wasn't a problem because the grill had a burner on it for boiling water and the entire grill was clean and in perfect working order. We had an amazing time on the kayaks and saw a lot of wildlife and beautiful scenery on the lake and the river. The kitchen and the bathroom were stocked with really nice touches- all of the products felt luxurious. The fresh bread, honey and coffee grounds were such a lovely touch. The quiet was really lovely, whether inside or out, it was so calm and very conducive to conversation, reading and listening to nature sounds. We hope to be back soon!
