Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Rochester

I had major surgery at the Mayo Clinic which required a quiet and clean place to recover. The neighborhood was quiet and the unit was close to the Mayo Clinic which was easy for follow up appointments and labs. Kevin was an outstanding host and very responsive for minor repairs. The amenities of the unit were great. The location of the unit was perfect, it was easy to navigate around Rochester, MN. The assigned parking was great and a cart that was provided for large groceries was convenient. It was a great place to recover from surgery. I felt safe when doing my required walks after surgery.

I loved every minute in the flat! It’s all very spacious and clean, the balcony faces the river and is simply amazing. It will easy to communicate with Kevin and Annika - they always responded within minutes and were extremely helpful. I cannot wait to come back next summer and spend another long holiday in the same flat. Thank you so much!

It was a nice place to relax during a hectic day at the Mayo. It was so quiet we forgot we were in a building. People were very nice and helpful. Parking was only 2 blocks away. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Our stay at Peaceful Riverside exceeded our expectations!! The unit was clean, modern appliances/ furniture, comfortable bedding, and perfect location!! My wife and I were came in from MI for testing at the Mayo Clinic. Having a place to stay that matched the description perfectly was a huge sense of comfort in a stressful time. The walking trail along the Riverside were near therapeutic. Kevin and Anika were great hosts, prompt to make sure we had all we needed and flexible to our needs. We will be retuning guests here in the future !!

Our 3rd time staying with this company here. Convenient, walkable location to several downtown Rochester restaurants (including Twigs who has a gluten-free kitchen) and coffee shops (we recommend Cafe Steam!). People’s Coop grocery is a 3-4 minute walk. Great workout facility for both strength training and cardio. Highly recommend staying here.

We had a great stay and would recommend it to others. I’ve never seen so many towels, and nice ones, at an Airbnb. The washer/dryer are in the unit, full size, and includes soap/dryer sheets which was really nice. The primary bedroom has a huge closet with a lot of hangers to use. It would be a nice place to stay long term if needed, I don’t usually think that of most airbnbs I’ve stayed. Theres a few codes to remember (front door, elevator, apartment) but that’s not the fault of the owners - it’s nice you don’t need to carry a key.

I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Rochester. I stayed while visiting the Mayo Clinic, and the location couldn’t have been more convenient — just two blocks away. Grocery, cafe, food, and gym all within 3 miles of this place. The rental property was exceptionally clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully furnished. We stayed for a month and truly felt at home during our time there. The staff was friendly, responsive both through the app and in person, and always attentive to our needs. If we’re ever back in Rochester, my family and I will definitely stay at Briana’s place again! Highly Recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay!!

Our visit to the Mayo Clinic was made much easier by the beautiful condo that we stayed in while in Rochester. The condo faced the river and the weather was perfect. Our hosts were amazing and met all our needs. If you happen to be searching for a place in Rochester; you should consider this place! It’s perfect.

This was the perfect place to stay while our family member was at Mayo. It is a 2 minute walk to the entrance of St. Mary’s. We were able to go back and forth multiple times each day with ease. Description is accurate. Any quirks about the house were clearly explained. Two bedrooms are on main floor with a/c. Two bedrooms are on top floor. It looked like one had a window a/c unit. Other room got a little warm, but manageable. We were able to fit one car in garage and two more large vehicles in parking spaces near garage (not on street). Peaceful, encouraging decor. Kitchen had all we needed to cook meals. Beautiful trees on property which made good shade for sitting outside. Birds & bunnies added to the delight. Would love to stay again if we need to go back to Mayo!

The Lake Port house was so close to the Villa Bellezza Winery where we had a wedding. We couldn't have asked for a better location. The house was clean and what we needed for our weekend stay.

Wonderful home and a great place to hangout with the family and enjoy the outdoors. The owners were great! Received a message a couple days ahead with helpful information of the house and the surrounding areas! Thank you for allowing to stay in your home! Highly recommend! :)

We booked our stay way in advance, and Malea was responsive from the very beginning. The house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Each room had an extra pillow and blanket, which was a nice surprise. Our kids loved having the foosball table and extra games. If the house is available next year when we need to come back, we will book again.

Excellent stay. Clean comfortable and quiet. Dropped my daughter at Mayo for summer internship and it was conveniently located not far at all from the Mayo . Would stay there again ! Thanks for all of the comforts of home

The house is outstanding and super clean and so beautiful 🤩, I really feel like in my home. Allison was a fantastic host! Her place was spotless and beautifully maintained. We had a wonderful stay.

Our stay was very pleasant. The home is spacious, immaculate, and well appointed. Upstairs The primary suite is spacious and comfortable. The dedicated office and ergonomic chair was a nice touch. The upstairs laundry room (where 3 of the bedrooms are, sleeping up to 6) was amazing. Not having to haul laundry up and down stairs was so convenient. Main floor The main living area is homey and decorated nicely. There is a powder room and a bedroom with a double or queen size bed. Note that while convenient for one floor living, there is no door on this room and no shower on the main level. It would work great for kids. The kitchen had all we needed and there was a roomy walk in pantry. Having a garage door opener was so helpful. It was very convenient when moving in and out to not have any stairs to enter the house from the garage. We backed in, opened the hatch to our car and loaded up seamlessly. No complaints whatsoever. Highly recommend!
