We had a lovely stay at the Shepard’s hut. It had everything we needed, in a great location, perfect for a local getaway. Only wish we could have stayed longer.

This is our 5th time staying at The Glade. Myself, my son and our pooch love it there. Its so private, quiet and i love to sit amongst the wildlife and bird watch. A nice walk in the woods right beside the hut or just a chilled swing in the hammock. It is our favourite place to unwind. I love how everytime we visit the surroundings look different with the ever changing wildlife. It is as beautiful in winter and rain as it is in the sun and summer. Autumn has to be my favourite. Juliet is a lovely host and is not intrusive in the slightest. However she is very responsive if you need anything. We had a lovely chat this time whilst i was sat bird watching and she told me about a few birds she had seen. What can i say if you need to unwind then this is the place. Comfortable, quiet, homely and warm.

Great getaway here! Easy to book, new amenities, smart new decor, great shower, fully functioning oven, job and microwave. Good directions to get to the place and easy self check in. (Just note there is no wifi and bring a spare toilet roll as we used our 1 roll up pretty quickly).

We had the most perfect stay at Rosies Retreat with our dog. Lucy was a fantastic host, we loved how accommodating she was through airbnb and we love a key box check in, we were left to enjoy the space which is how we like it but we knew she was there in the background if we did find we needed anything. This is a perfect retreat with a well behaved reactive dog who just loves to look out at a view and has nothing around to spook them 🐾 all three of us are fully recharged and already looking forward to another visit sometime x

Will and Gill were amazing hosts. We had an issue where we lost our car key while on a beach walk and they could not have been more helpful. Regarding the shepherd's hut itself, it was everything we hoped for. More spacious than appears I'm the photos and was more than enough room for two adults , two kids and a dog. Nicely furnished and well kitted out, it had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Hot tub was a big hit with kids and adults alike. Very private and peaceful with large field for the dog to run around , it really had everything. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

Had a really lush time. Very generous with the wood for a fire and clean space. Already want to go back.

Been coming here for the last 3 years,we go to the ROYAL Cornwall show lovely set up ,we stayed here for 3 nights,we had the pleasure of meeting Ginny lovely lady ,we will be back again next year.

We booked Lilliput very last minute to get a warm and dry nights sleep after a miserable few days camping, everything was just as described and exactly what we needed, Thankyou!

The Shepard’s hut was the perfect, quiet and rural stay we needed to switch off from our busy lives! The Shepards Huts are set in the woodland area of the hosts drive, but far enough away from each other and their home. They are cosy, private and peaceful. Abbie has placed lots of small things that have a real homely touch. From board games to tea, milk and cakes which were left for us on arrival. (Always a win!). The hut is in a brilliant location with lots of popular towns and village's being only 20/30 minutes drive. We drove to Watergate Bay and for an evening dog walk along the beach and take away pizzas one evening. It only took a 20 minuet drive and I highly recommend as it was an amazing sunset! Although the Hut is set back from the local village, you could easily walk there. There is a small village pub, shop and a takeaway I really can’t fault this place and highly recommend to anyone booking a stay here. Thank you for having us and we will hope to come back again!

Bliss ✨ Little Bear is a magical place. Private and peaceful with picturesque views and sounds of bird song. The perfect place to relax and recharge. We felt very much at home here and hope to return one day.

Slow glamping is an amazing spot. Incredibly peaceful and secluded spot which we thoroughly enjoyed.

A great get away that was easy to find. With fantastic views and an extremely peaceful area surrounded by farmland. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!!

This is out 7th stay at Jackie's place and this time was for our minimoon after our wedding on the Saturday and Jackie and Johnny did us proud again, left some balloons, flowers, fizz and a lovely card for our wedding day. We had such a relaxed and stress free break, can't wait to go back again. Thanks again ❤️

We enjoyed a fabulously relaxed & peaceful week at the little hut surrounded by wonderful nature. The shepherd's hut was very comfortable with nice furnishings & linen etc. We slept well in the bed & were able to cook a good range of foods on the hob & microwave/grill. The shower is large with a lovely powerful flow of water as hot as you like it. Lots of beautiful walks, coastline, beaches, harbours & historic places to visit. The hot tub was incredibly relaxing whilst watching the night skies and listening to the sounds of nature. Danielle was the perfect host, quick to respond to any queries & went out of her way to make suggestions of places to visit with our dog who is not so keen on busy places. A very thoughtful & enjoyable welcome pack was also appreciated, even our dog was provided with some luxurious treats - his new favourite. The perfect place for privacy, comfort & relaxation with a host who remains completely unobtrusive yet genuinely friendly & responsive when needed

Very peaceful Amazing bird of prey in the field. He was quite a beauty. Car park a bit tight for my Audi Q7 if others haven’t parked their cars well. Just a pointer for other guests to be aware of Very relaxing and cosy

Perfect overnight stay whilst walking the coast path. Nicola had thought about every little detail so we felt really comfortable and well looked after. Would highly recommend!

We had a fantastic weekend stay at The Willow tree hut! Helen and her husband were very warm & welcoming. We arrived to freshly baked scones with fresh jam and cream as well as fresh eggs and milk (a lovely and delicious bonus) The hut was absolutely immaculate head to toe and so cosy… the scenery and wildlife around was beautiful despite us being unlucky with the weather 🌧️ we also thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub which was also very clean. All information regarding the surrounding areas such as nearby places to eat, spend the day, shop etc was also provided to help ease our experience and find things to do another huge bonus! Would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning :)

Absolutely amazing weekend at the Mulberry Hut!!! Despite torrential rain for most of it 🤦‍♀️ Our German Shepherd absolutely loved her first holiday just exploring the garden and being free. The Hut is perfect, the outside has everything you need to chill, dining area, chill out area, hot tub, fire pit and bbq. Everything is exactly as descibed and we will definately be back soon!!!

We had a very enjoyable stay in the shepherd hut with our cocker spaniel. The shepherds hut was extremely cosy and comfortable. The enclosed garden was a perfect place to relax and great for our dog. Surrounding countryside is beautiful. Definitely recommend a stay here.

Our stay at Lisa’s place was absolutely magical. We loved being in peaceful Dartmoor Park. We were there in the spring and got to see all the wonderful little lambs running just outside our window. The walk Lisa recommended was spectacular.

Little Langford Shepherds Hut was completely ideal in every way. Rory is a great host and was extremely helpful with local recommendations, and fully stocked the hut with more than enough breakfast stuffs for our whole stay! The location is extremely peaceful, the village of Abbotskerswell was idyllic and the Court Farm Inn had great food and great atmosphere. It's well situated for everything in South Devon from getting up onto Dartmoor to visiting seaside towns: we particularly loved Totnes which is well worth a visit. The hut has great amenities with a gas BBQ and electric hot tub, the patio area in front is a great space to relax on in the evenings and there is a fire pit for some extra warmth or ambience. The inside of the hut is compact but fully functional and really well finished, the bedroom nook in particular is so comfortable and with the TV is a very cosy space. Overall, we would recommend this shepherds hut to anyone and it is the best we have stayed in out of many.
