We had a beautiful stay this weekend at Gills lodge, it is in a peaceful location and has lovely attention to detail inside with everything you could need and more! Bude is a short drive away, with lovely bars & restaurants, along with nice coastal walks! Highly recommend <3

one of the best and most peaceful places we have ever stayed! lovely location, beautiful garden, privacy and a great hotub! kitchen has everything you need to cook a nice dinner and the lodge itself is beautiful. we had a great time and even with some heavy rain it was great. don't expect to be connected to the outside world as phone and Internet is almost non-existent, but that is what is so relaxing about this place! We had a wonderful stay at Porthilly Lodge! The setting was absolutely beautiful, and the cabin had everything we needed. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful when we needed help with the hot tub, going out of their way to assist us quickly and kindly. The nearby little beach was lovely for an evening stroll, and for those looking for a longer outing, the walk to the ferry and a day in Padstow is well worth it. We’d happily recommend staying here, and we’ve already talked about coming back!

Lovely location with beautiful views. Secure garden to allow dogs to run around freely, which mine loved. It was my first trip away with both of my dogs and I was a bit worried about it, but it was perfect. Hosts are very welcoming to dogs as well which made me feel more at ease. Hot tub was great. Lots of different areas in the garden to relax.

This was one of the best stays I’ve had. The view was incredible and the hot tub was amazing! If you’re lucky enough to have the chance to book this place, I’d 100% recommend. The host is also amazing and very responsive. Location is also extremely private and peaceful. I’ll definitely be coming back! Thanks for having me!

I dont think the photos do it justice with how nice this place was! There were so many finishing touches that made it feel like a spa retreat more than just a place to stay. The instructions on getting there were spot on and the host was so friendly and welcoming. We could have happily stayed for a month, shame we only had a weekend free 😊

We had a fantastic stay at the Bunkhouse. We travelled with our 2 year old son and dog and this place was just perfect for us. Very secluded, feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. Beautiful views all around. Great for walks and also an easy drive to the Beach. We visited Widemouth and e both within 25 mins drive and very worth it. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to stay here again in the near future. Thanks Jill.

I recently stayed at the Wigwam holiday cottage and overall had a lovely experience. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful — perfect for anyone looking to relax and recharge. Surrounded by nature, the setting is quiet and serene, making it an ideal escape from busy city life. The cottage itself is cozy, clean, and well-maintained, with a warm and welcoming feel that makes you feel at home right away. That said, it’s important to note that the location can be a bit tricky for those unfamiliar with Cornwall or without their own transport. The cottage is quite remote, and public transport options in the area are limited. It would be difficult to reach or get around without a car, especially if you’re planning to explore the surrounding countryside or visit local attractions. If you’re prepared for that — and especially if you’re driving — the Wigwam cottage is a hidden gem. Just be sure to plan your travel carefully if you’re relying on public transport.

Cute cabin, very clean, reasonably priced, good water pressure, good kitchen, responsive host. Not super close to any main attractions, but a good base for exploring Cornwall. We enjoyed our stay.

lovley stay everything as described, absolutly charming place. You can even see heytor from the garden, stunning. Loads to do in area too. Our microwave stopped working and they came and replaced with a new one in less than 5 minuites. Only shame was the weather was so nice we didnt get a chance to use the wood burner. Faultless

This is a lovely light & spacious cabin with great coastal views in a quiet location. It was a great base to explore this part of the north Devon coast and we'd happily stay here again

Just like a home from home, with everything you could possibly need for a few days away. Everything seems well thought out and even though we didn’t need the accessible room, this looked like it would also work very well. Very well placed for getting around Cornwall. We have been all over and very close to Newquay (only a few minutes). Great location for exploring.

Thank you both for a brillant stay. The surroundings were perfect. The mottled light in the evening around the fire was perfect. The sauna, cold drop & hot tub made the stay very special and relaxing. Some really cool attention to detail stuff in the cabin. It was super cosy & comfortable. We had a wonderful stay at The Hoot! An absolutely beautiful spot nestled in the trees by one of the lakes, surrounded by nothing other than nature, if you're looking for peace and tranquility submerged in wildlife then this is for you. If you don't already have it, we recommend downloading the 'Merlin' app and learn about what you can hear, at one point it picked up 15 different birds!! The cabin and kitchen were clean and well equipped, hot tub and BBQ a bonus, and their BBQ pack is definitely worth ordering! Ellen and Chris were fantastic hosts, super responsive helpful and friendly - thank you for sharing your amazing home with us 🌿

My expectations was blown out of water for where I was staying. Everything was clean, and perfectly organised to make the place feel cozy. With the lovely view it of the sea and even lovelier company with Val (if you wanted to grab a chat) I would highly recommend this place anyone looking for a solo trip to Looe. The town was just a short walk away with a breath taking view and even a few recommendations from Val of where to go and what to see. I will be definitely be coming back in the future as my experience was heavenly.

Wonderful place to stay with my family. The toys, games and park were great for my children. Cathy and Steve were really helpful with our later than planned check in and a little issue with our chalet key. thank you. Great location for hitting various Cornwall hot spots as well as the quieter, lesser known places. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely blown away to be honest. The owl houses are stunning. From the overall feel to the small details they have nailed it.
