We had the most wonderful week at the Rocket House. James has created the most wonderfully welcoming and enjoyable space. The house was truly more beautiful than we anticipated. It had everything we needed. The amenities were functional and well-appointed. The whole house was well-suited for our needs and was incredibly livable. My favorite part was the windows. If I have to clean up from dinner, the view made it so much more enjoyable. Additionally, the house was spotless and easily accessible. Check-in and check-out were super easy. Also, learning about the history of the house made it more meaningful to discover the specialness of the location and the house's origins. I CANNOT say enough good things about the location. The SW Coast Path is literally just outside the door. The views were stunning. Working with James was a joy. He was communicative, informative, and accommodating. I have already sent this listing to multiple friends!

Lovely little base to come back to in the evening. Good location for exploring Devon. Tucked away so you don't feel overlooked. Appreciated the mini fridge and microwave. Comfy bed. Enjoyed watching the birds & dragonflies in the garden. Nice people. Easy parking. Excellent value for money.

this was our second time staying at this cottage and it and it was as amazing as the first. we never stay at the same place twice, but we want to come back here every year. it's quiet and so beautiful and has access to the most amazing walks. Susan is also so kind and helpful.

Really enjoyed our stay. We felt we could have booked for an extra day as the place was perfect for our needs and looked exactly like the photos. his was a perfect find for 3 friends as we all had a room each and the hosts respected our privacy. The host greeted us when we arrived and were friendly, giving some suggestions on how the suggested taxi ride was to to town etc. Definitely would consider coming back if am ever in the the area again. We had a great stay, Colin and Lisa were lovely and even went above and beyond to provide us with a little extra treat for my fiances birthday. The apartment was clean, comfortable with really special view. Also, the local restaurants and bars are way closer than Google would have you believe, we particularly want give an extra special thanks for the ferry recommendation. We had a fantastic time and plan to return in the future. :)

This has to be the best ever beachfront apartment we have stayed in. Spectacular views, spacious balcony, superbly equipped and everything worked without any hassle. The Leisure Club is an added bonus for me - brilliant pool, fitness equipment and the jacuzzi plus the outdoor terrace and restaurant with great meals, especially the (takeaway available too) fish and chips. The purpose of this trip was a holiday for my 94 year old Mother - above all the apartment was very safe/secure, accessible, the few steps to the 1st floor are manageable and the lift means getting into the apartment is easy. Totally recommend this apartment!

A lovely get away, Carlos was very hospitable and introduced himself not long after check in and making sure everything was ok & if we had any questions we knew where to find him. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely modern apartment set in beautiful peaceful and restful surroundings. Very clean with all facilities. Clear instructions for check-in and general instructions. Felt very at home. Easy to find and some manageable steps to property. Nice beach and amazing views. Within walking distance or five minute drive from Looe-which was our main interest. Would happily book again. What a fabulous stay! We had a great time, the place was a charming and cottagey feel place set in beautiful location. The apartment well stocked, they provided everything from cleaning supplies to every conceivable food item you require for breakfast including fresh chicken eggs - straight from the farm. The hosts were wonderful and welcoming and communicated efficiently and I was kept up to date. Location is down narrow lanes, in the beautiful countryside of Devon - it was my first time but my friend is a confident driver, we did get lost, as we were admiring the views and not paying attention to the instructions but the instructions and pictures the host provided were very clear. There are few animals at the location, you just have to go see for yourself! Loved every minute, thank you so much - definitely see you next year!

Absolutely stunning place inside and out, I couldn’t have wished for more. The balcony was literally right on the sea and the views were gorgeous. When the tide is out there’s a lovely little beach and rock pools to explore. Lovely coastal walks down to Cawsand and Kingsand which is 2 miles each way so you do need to have a certain level of fitness, and National Trust house also nearby to visit. Lovely little ferry ride over to Plymouth and the barbican where there’s lots of lovely restaurants and little shops. The apartment itself was very cosy and comfortable with excellent WiFi connections. We didn’t close the curtains at night as it was lovely to see the sea from the bed and watch the moon shimmer on the water as well as wake up naturally with the sunrise. Best place we’ve ever stayed.

The flat was beautiful and very comfortable. It is in a built up area but didn’t have trouble finding a parking space. There were lots of lovely touches around the flat that really made it feel like a home from home. Will definitely book it for our next visit to Plymouth.

Probably one of the best Airbnb’s we’ve stayed in. Set in a beautiful location and exactly as photos portray it. Great attention has been paid to making it as comfortable as possible. Hosts were very welcoming and welcome pack was much appreciated. We would thoroughly recommend and hope to return.

Sarah was incredibly communicative and greeted us at the door with a warm welcome. She kindly took the time to show us around ensuring we had evening we needed. The accommodation was remarkably spotless and clean. The bed was super comfy. Option to have 2 single sofa beds or one which was perfect. The neighbours were friendly and kind. Decor was gorgeous. Had an amazing stay. The apartment was in a beautiful historical building. The apartment itself was beautiful. The kitchen was very well appointed. Everything so clean. We were visiting family and they came over to the apartment one of the days and we had a lovely afternoon walk around Wise Park and Scott Memorial. Great location, 10 minute drive to Royal William Yard and 15 minutes to West Hoe. We will be back again.

We had a lovely stay at Beckys, the place is very cosy, has everything you could possibly need which is amazing especially when on a little stay and not able to bring everything yourself. The added extras of the milk and cookies was great and really appreciated. Also really comprehensive instructions for everything in the property and amazing guide to eating out etc, made picking somewhere much easier with our dog in tow. Would definitely stay again and would really recommend. Thanks!

The view from the apartment was captivating, even when it was raining! We loved Looe and all its great places to eat and lovely beach to chill out on, everything was very easy to get too. The highlight was the coastal walk into Polperro which was very quaint and chock full of pasty shops. Highly recommend this place if you want a central location.

A beautiful apartment with amazing views. Very close to the university which was the purpose of our visit. Our host was very friendly and was excellent at communicating with us. We would 100% stay at this property again.
