Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Rappahannock River

Even after a week has passed, this place and how soon we can rent it again is all that’s been on my mind. The view is beautiful, and the house feels like home away from home. We utilized the hot tub, shucked oysters, read at the dock, went kayaking… it was a dream neither of us wanted to leave. The lab next door was an absolute sweet heart, and was very relaxed and friendly towards us and our normally overprotective/anxious dog. Linda gave clear instructions on how to get to and care for the house beforehand and was a great help. The home was already equipped with most things you would need. Certainly would love to visit again.

We had a wonderful stay. The property was beautiful- very well kept and cozy. We were very comfortable. Rose was easy to communicate and so inviting. Thanks for a great visit we will come back someday!

We had a great time at Greg’s and Nicole’s place! I highly recommend it. We especially appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was, as it is somewhat rare to find when staying at a rental.

Michelle’s place had everything we needed! The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, the living room and dining space were both really nice to use, and we loved the backyard area and hot tub! It was also a very close walk to the water and downtown area! We would definitely recommend:)

We had a great time at Nicholas and Dana's place! It was both fun and relaxing. We really enjoyed the little beach, the dock and the kayaks. We caught some catfish and one tiny crab in the crab trap (and threw everything back in). It was nice to have the firepit and hot tub to use too. And, the kids really liked being downstairs in their own space. The only issues were that the key pad wasn't working to get in to the front door which was frustrating after a long drive and the grill was very slow to heat up and probably needs to be replaced. Overall, this home was a really good choice for us and we would stay again when visiting family in the area.

This home was lovely. A lot of fun activities at the home and right near the lake. We enjoyed the games and golf cart a lot. The beds and pillows were very comfy!

This was an awesome experience! The place was so comfy and roomy! We loved using the hot-tub! It was clean and her hospitality was over the top! We will definitely book with her again if we are in the area and recommend it to our friends!!

The place was great for 2 small families w dogs. Cami was quick to respond to any questions that we had. The driveway was perfect for our 3 cars and 2 boats. Neighborhood boat launch was on the public side of the lake, and just a short drive from the house. The kitchen was well stocked and made it enjoyable to prepare dinner together after a great day of fishing and playing on the lake.

What an incredible stay! The home was spotlessly clean—truly one of the cleanest Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. Every detail was pristine, which made it feel so welcoming and comfortable. It was also beautifully and tastefully decorated, creating a cozy yet stylish atmosphere throughout. The outdoor space was just as impressive—peaceful, private, and perfect for relaxing. We especially loved the fenced-in hot tub area, which made it easy to unwind while our dogs stayed safe nearby. And the sauna was such a cool and unexpected bonus! The location is secluded enough to feel like a true escape, yet close to wineries, restaurants, and everything else you might need. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. We had the most relaxing weekend with family and friends—this place is a true gem. We can’t wait to return!

The cabin on the lake was relaxing, comfortable and a great central place for allowing us to visit the historic Civil War battlefields in the area, Monticello and close enough to Washington D.C.to enjoy two days of sightseeing there. We enjoyed sitting on the rocking chairs on the cabin porch and watching the fishermen in their boats, the birds and especially the swan who came to visit us.

The house is great! The WiFi works well for the occasional work meeting or for streaming shows. The outdoor space was just what we were looking for. Also, Frank was super responsive if we had a question. Thank you so much for hosting us!

We enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room and bathrooms for everyone. The host was amazing and easily available anytime we needed anything.

First off check in was a breeze. The house and amenities were just as Frank described even better! The house was stocked well enough with plenty of towels for the beach and bathrooms and blankets. The kitchen was stocked with basic products to start the week off which was a huge help! The house itself has more than enough space for a large family to spread out. The large family sunroom and dinning area was a great gathering point and having 2 living rooms with tvs made sure the kids had their own space as well. The loved the 90’s Nintendo system! The mattresses in the master and the full in 2nd bedroom are extremely comfortable! Frank makes sure that there is more the enough outdoor toys like kayaks, SUP’s and life vests. We used them all week long! Montross crabs were fantastic. Our favorite part about franks place is being able to bring our dogs with us. Weather can change quick in the area but made for a great memory being able to see a tornado/water spout over the river!

This home was the perfect spot for our family to rest and relax throughout our son’s volleyball tournament. Lovely home!

Tara is a very responsive host. As a Marriott facility, there are staff members on hand to assist with your needs and access to other amenities. The vacation rental itself is spacious and clean. The location is quiet and away from the hustle and bustle, yet close enough to drive to anywhere you need to go - dining, entertainment, or shops.

Mark had a gorgeous property, perfectly appointed and pristine. He was a superb host, very responsive and so helpful. The forested lot provides a peaceful and private location just a short hike to the Shenandoah River. The surrounding natural beauty and wildlife were the highlight of our stay. We will definitely be back,

This house is very well located for enjoying Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive, & Front Royal, VA. The northern most park entrance is a very short drive, & the town of Front Royal is also a short drive. The house was very comfortable for my family of eight adults and one grandchild plus dog. We convened there for a week for a family get together. You won’t be bored. Solomon has provided everything you could possibly want to have fun and relax, from the very nice outdoor hot tub, fire pit with chairs and the makings of s’mores, hammock, and corn hole game, to the downstairs game room with pool table, the extensive library, fireplaces and nice back porch with grill, table, chairs, & porch swing, etc.! The master bedroom is amazing, the downstairs bedroom is also very nice, both with en-suite bathrooms. The other two bedrooms are much smaller and share a bathroom although there is a half bath off the kitchen. It worked for us. We hated to see the week end! Would come back.

We had a great time at Corey’s cabin! My 3 year old asked if we could move there - so it got his approval, too! Views from the property are beautiful. Nice fire-pit and as a young family, it was nice being able to do a load of laundry before we came home. Corey gave clear communication before and during our stay that helped us relax and have a great time.

I planned to propose to my girlfriend over a romantic farm and Shenandoah getaway weekend. Andrea was very excited and helped make the weekend really special. The grounds were amazing and so beautiful with trails to take walks on and many animals to see. We brought our puppy and we had plenty of space to safely let him off leash to run around. He had as much fun as we did (and we got engaged!) Her restaurant recommendations were spot on, so definitely give those a try. We did the farm tour on the last day, and it was so personal, interactive and informative. Do not skip the tour!!! Andrea was so kind and generous with us. We cannot recommend this place highly enough.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! Close enough to all the hikes we wanted to do. Pet friendly (huge for us) and beautiful views! Please make sure you read the whole listing, as you definitely need a vehicle with 4 wheel drive to get up the driveway. We brought our own towels, sheets, and so on as stated and everything else we needed was available. Would recommend bringing dish towels. We had forgotten them this trip. Cooking pots and pans are little outdated but they’re just fine! We had a wonderful taco night anniversary dinner at the cabin and throughly enjoyed a nice soak in the hot tub. There’s a very nice above ground pool also but it was too cold this time of year to swim in. I would definitely stay again!

Very peaceful retreat with a very rustic feel with all the modern amenities. The hot tub was wonderful. We had an issue with the settings and it was resolved quickly with a very responsive text message from the owner. Clean and WiFi and TV worked well. Would come back!

Great, comfortable house with easy access to Shenandoah park and river!

Great stay! We were in town for a wedding at Morais Vineyards and it was a perfect spot for our old high school group to be able to all stay together for the festivities!!
