Gorgeous views, awesome location. Can walk to cafes and restaurants. Top notch food around. We had debated Urubamba vs Ollantaytambo but so happy we picked Urubamba. Ollantay gets PACKED with tourists - it’s overwhelming. Urubamba felt live a super lovely local place. And a quick drive to all major sites in the area. Our host helped us organize taxis, and tours. We horse backed to the salt mines and it was way more fun then taking a taxi or bus.

The accommodation is as beautiful as in the photos, the nature is beautiful. I got a little lost, because the location is exactly where they indicate but there is no big sign and we arrived at night so yes, that little entrance door is it! There is electricity to charge cell phones, for the light it is necessary to use candles, believe it or not it is a wonderful experience, I read in the comments that there was no hot water but it does have it and it is very good, it is appreciated because at night it is cold. In short, a great place to disconnect and have a great time, quite romantic too!

Maribel's 2 apartments are very comfortable. At the last minute we needed an extra night and this apartment was not available but we were able to stay in the other one. They have everything you need for a comfortable stay, the kitchen is well equipped, large TVs, extra bedspread for the cold, constant hot water with very good pressure, a nice garden. The balcony of the 2nd floor apartment is very spacious and comfortable. Located at the foot of the road, which gives quick access to transportation, multiple stores nearby. My only observation is about the armchairs that are uncomfortable and dirty, but it is not something that would stop us from staying again. I'm sure if we return to the valley, this would be the place where we would stay. Thank you Maribel, Mrs. Julia and sister, you were very kind the entire time we needed your help.

This place is heaven! We wished we lived there!! This has been our favourite place we stayed in the whole 6 months of travelling. The hosts had great recommendations for local markets, shops and were always responsive. We especially loved having the fire place, hot shower, garden to sit in and bed with views of the mountains. It has a very peaceful and cottage vibe to it, the perfect place for us to relax after doing the Machu Picchu hike. We didn’t end up doing much in the area, because we didn’t want to leave the air b and b! If you’re going to be visiting Urubamba or the Sacred Valley, this is such a beautiful place to stay!
