Holiday rentals with lake access in Portugal

Unser Aufenthalt bei José war rundum gelungen! Die Unterkunft war wunderschön und der Ausblick auf die Pferdewiese einfach traumhaft. Besonders gefallen hat uns der liebevoll zusammengestellte Frühstückskorb am Morgen – eine tolle Geste! Auch das Mithelfen beim Füttern der Tiere war ein echtes Highlight, vor allem für Naturliebhaber. Die Möglichkeit, kleine Wanderungen über Pferde- und Kuhwiesen zu unternehmen, hat unseren Aufenthalt perfekt abgerundet. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen ganz bestimmt wieder, wenn wir in der Gegend sind!

We had a fantastic stay at the villa. Highlight was the unbelievable views from the pool and terrace. The villa and garden with pool & basketball/football court is completely private, perfect for small groups. There are some great local restaurants and river beaches, and Porto centre is only a short drive away. Be warned - there are lots of steep and narrow roads! João was a brilliant host - greeting us on arrival, and easy to reach throughout. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

We had an amazing time at Fernando’s place! The scenery is beautiful and the house was perfect for the relaxing trip we were hoping for! The locals in Valhelhas are so friendly and fun to be around. Our stay in this small village was fantastic! We can only recommend Fernando’s place!

Wonderful stay at Sofia‘s place. My daughter and I created some wonderful memories. She was really helpful the entire time we were there, especially with my broken adapter and suggestions for what to do with a limited amount of time. Would like to stay here again someday. Wij zijn 3 nachten gebleven, maar langer was ook fijn geweest. Het huis is ruim, schoon en dichtbij het centrum. Met leuke eergelegenheden en strand. Ook met kinderen lijkt ons dit prima locatie. De mogelijkheid van de fietsen gebruik te maken is mooie bonus. En er zijn fietspaden :-). Wij raden het zeer aan.

O espaço é simplesmente deslumbrante, perfeito para descansar a mente e recarregar a alma. E como se não bastasse a natureza envolvente e a tranquilidade do lugar, tivemos visitas encantadoras: uns gatinhos adoráveis que apareceram de forma inesperada e conquistaram imediatamente os nossos corações. Foram uma mais-valia doce e carinhosa, que deu ainda mais vida à nossa estadia. Recomendamos de olhos fechados — e com o coração cheio.

Pedro's place was a cozy place in the middle of the beautiful Furnas surroundings. Pedro was helpful and provided a lot of information about the activities and restaurants at Furnas. and also thanks for the little intentions towards us at the place ! Thanks you very much!

We loved the flat. Very close to the beach and the town. It had everything we needed. We were especially pleased to have a washing machine for our sports gear. The flat faces north, so not good for sun-worshipping. But we loved the coolness and calm. Air con works a treat if you need it. Would definitely stay there again. Great vale compared to the uber-expensive Pestana hotels.

Eulalia est une personne adorable qui est venue nous expliquer le fonctionnement de l'électroménager après son travail. Elle nous a conseillé des visites, indiqué un parking gratuit à proximité du centre historique. Lorsque nous avons eu un problème de voiture, elle a été proactive pour nous indiquer un garage un jour férié. Son appartement est standing, décoré avec goût et il ne manque rien pour passer un bon séjour. On vous recommande ce logement à 100%. De plus Aveiro est une ville à découvrir.

Nous avons été bien accueillis par Filipe. La communication avec lui est facile, il est disponible et réactif. Il a été très flexible avec nous sur l’heure d’arrivée et de départ, ce que nous avons vraiment apprécié. Le logement est grand, bien meublé, confortable, très bien situé pour visiter la jolie ville de Machico, près de la plage, de restaurants, d’épiceries, du terminus de bus, etc. L’appartement est d’une propreté impeccable et très bien équipé. Il offre tout ce dont nous avons besoin pour y passer un séjour agréable et confortable.   Nous recommandons ce logement sans aucune hésitation.  Merci pour tout, Filipe!

Très beau logement propre et agréable au calme. Bonne communication avec Lydia. C'était un premier Airbnb pour nous et ce fut une expérience très positive. Le logement est très bien situé avec ce qu'il faut à proximité . J'ai beaucoup aimé les promenades dans le parc mais je reste déçu du manque d'entretien des espaces vert ce qui rendrait le moment d'autant plus agréable. Je recommande ce logement sans problème

This is an exceptional Airbnb. Fernando is a welcoming host and an interesting man to talk to. The house is spacious, generous and peaceful. It is also beautiful, with character, and perfect spots for every season. The sitting room must be lovely in winter. The walks in the nature reserve were lovely! You won’t want to leave.

Ganz besonderer Ort direkt am Douro. Wunderschöne Terrasse mit Pool, Liegen und Garten mit Obstbäumen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

We had a brilliant time at Canto Do Zêzere - the house is really clean, spacious and comfortable, and the lakeside location is absolutely stunning. Boating on the lake was a highlight! We would definitely come back again.

Tiago est dans mon top cinq de Airbnb partout dans le monde. Je suis très habitué, et j'ai été agréablement, surprise de la vitesse de réponse, ainsi que de tout ce qu'il proposait. Il nous avait donné des instructions très claires et le logement était exactement ce à quoi nous nous attendions. Bien sûr il faut une voiture pour visiter les alentours. Il y a un grand stationnement gratuit si vos amis veulent venir vous rejoindre. Tiago nous a laissé beaucoup de cadeaux je n'avais jamais vu ça de ma vie. Le logement est équipé, plus que ce que vous aurez de besoin. La cour et le jardin sont indescriptibles. Vous ne devez pas passer à côté des chaises suspendues. Le jardin est parfait aussi pour manger dehors. Je n'ai absolument rien de négatif à dire et Tiago est vraiment un super hôte qui a été d'une grande aide pour agrémenter le séjour. Il nous a donné beaucoup de conseils qui ont menés à de belles surprises. Nous vous recommandons ABSOLUMENT cet endroit.

Chris and Susan are lovely hosts. If we could, we would give them 6 stars. Very helpful, respectful, pro-active and thoughtful. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Amélia and Joa treated us as extended family who came to visit, making it an immersive European experience :) They were comfortable with us exploring the property, they shared their cistern pool with us, their son showed off for our daughter, they offered us fruit popsicles and herbs for tea - their openness added value to our experience beyond the lovely back patio for dining and cute doggy Amy who always greeted us.
