Delightful, quiet location, with fully furnished house. Outside, there is a wonderful swimming pool (approx. 8x4x1.5 meters) in a spacious garden with a beautiful view of the surroundings. As a cherry on top, there is also a super Jacuzzi with delicious relaxation beds.

Beautiful place, stunning views, very yummy breakfast every morning. Carlos is very friendly and helpful. the little cabins are comfortable and perfect for families.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Absolutely beautiful location and it was quiet and peaceful. It was a great place to come relax mid-day between adventures, and we loved using the jacuzzi at the end of the day after hiking and exploring Madeira! Gomes also gave great recommendations and we really enjoyed some of his restaurant recommendations and a local poncha bar. If we ever come back we would definitely stay here again!

Silvio is gracious and friendly and the garden is beautiful. He left us fresh eggs one morning and we loved the hot tub. Definitely recommend Silvio’s place.

We had a wonderful stay at Quinta dos Manteiros. The house was clean, well decorated, cozy, comfortable and with excellent indoor and outdoor space. We love our stay and are already thinking about booking in the summer.

A gracious host with a beautiful space. Luis and his wife Fatima made sure I had everything I needed and made sure to check on me throughout my stay which had some surprises during a midday hike but none of it their fault. I am forever grateful!

Amazing location in picturesque village

My family and I loved staying at Vitor's place. We received a welcome basket with a thought for our children. The accommodation is exactly as shown in the photos and the outdoor space is simply magical and very popular with both adults and children. The village of Fuz is very quickly reached by car. Ideal place to rest and have a little privacy with family.

I had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful property! The space was peaceful, comfortable, and full of charm – the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged, and you can really feel the care that’s gone into creating such a welcoming environment. One of the unexpected highlights was getting to meet their three lovely dogs – Nuts, Thelma, and Louise. Each of them has such a sweet personality, and they added so much warmth and character to our stay. Thank you for the incredible hospitality – I hope to return again soon!

Loved our stay here in Simone's stone cottage. Location is excellent so close to the castle, Felt like we had gone back in time and really enjoyed staying in an original stone cottage from days gone by surrounded by the history of Monsanto! Even though the cottage is historic it is well fitted with all the amenities and updated to modern needs. Fully fitted kitchen with all appliances and a few basic items such as tea, coffee, sugar and some spices etc to get us started. The beds were comfortable with nice linens and a good amount of towels. There was even A/C available although we did not need to use it. Simone was very responsive and provided detailed instructions to both find the cottage and access it. She had great suggestions on local eateries etc. Appreciated the contactless check in as when traveling it can be hard to keep to a timetable! Wonderful stay and would highly recommend. 10/10!!

We had a wonderful week. Accommodation is fully equipped and we got a number of good tips from Simone about what to do in the area and where we could eat well. We were able to feel "at home" for a week and the location is beautiful with a wonderful swimming pool!

Absolutely loved this place. The pool was amazing. Patrick was super helpful and accommodating as our flight was very early for arrival. We didn’t have a car, but the walk or cycle into Foz is lovely, on a trail along the lagoon. We used Bolt to get further afield, to supermarkets, Obidos and Peniche and they were really cheap and easily available, so we really didn’t feel we needed a car. The views are stunning and the villa is so private and homely. The good sized pool really made it for us. The perfect holiday, highly recommend!

Our stay here was nothing short of incredible. The location is unbeatable—waking up to the sound of the ocean and having panoramic views of the Atlantic from the property was a dream come true. The home was spotless, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The host was welcoming and responsive. We loved the outdoor space where we enjoyed coffee in the mornings and some drinks at sunset. It truly felt like a peaceful retreat tucked away in paradise. Being so close to nature made this the perfect base for exploring the beauty of São Miguel. We can’t recommend this place enough!

A charming and eclectic place with a magical vibe. We stayed in Honeysuckle cottage, which has the kitchen/living in a separate entrance but this actually made us spend more time in this room which became our favourite. Beautiful antique furniture! The garden is absolutely stunning and you’ll have a beautiful time even if you don’t go anywhere else. The owners are lovely and kind people, always responsive and helpful with recommendations.
