Guest house holiday rentals in Portugal

The house is small but cozy, the kitchen has literally everything and the appliances and tools were very well kept. It was super clean, no issues whatsoever. The bathroom is ok, no bidet but no complaints there. There is plenty of space for parking the car or the bike. Location is perfect, just a few minutes walking from Bordeira beach, which is a marvel. A car is needed for moving around. But Carrapateira is a really nice village. One of the best places we've been in Portugal in almost 9 years.

We had a wonderful stay with Stefan and Lilian. The sweetest hosts! The house and the place are even more beautiful in reality than in the pictures. A perfect place to slow down. The hosts grow the most delicious vegetables, which you can buy from them. The warmest recommendations from here.

We had such a lovely time here spending most of our time swimming in the pool, exploring the beaches and enjoying as many of the nearby restaurants as possible! Our hosts couldn’t have been more welcoming and we were made to feel right at home straight away. Thank you 😊

Great stay at Frank's! His wife and daughters were very welcoming. The place was great and met our expectations. The rooftop for stargazing was a real plus. We loved the company of animals☺️ Small downside for the shower, complicated to adjust the water temperature.

The villa is absolutely beautiful - the photos look great but do not do justice to how spectacular the setting is! It is a beautiful and peaceful spot and very comfortable accommodations. In particular the pool is perfect - a great size and set in a lovely spot with a great view in which to sun yourself post swim. Margarida and Abel were very warm and welcoming, helping us to feel immediately at home and providing great recommendations for shopping, activities and restaurants. Thank you so much for- we loved our stay!

I immediately felt at home here. The cottage is cosily furnished and is very private despite its location in the backyard and proximity to the house. And the proximity to the beach is fantastic. The communication with Rui and Vania was very friendly and uncomplicated. Cheese and crackers were waiting for me in the flat as a welcome gift, which was a nice surprise. Thank you so much. We spent a wonderful week on vacation. The house and garden are very pleasant. The pool is very good. Very quiet location. Mr. João, very polite, always very discreet but totally available. We love it. We'll be back! Thank you, Mr. João, for the wonderful days you gave us.

We had a wonderful time in this little corner of paradise. Small independent cottage at the back of a very nice park, quiet and without any neighbors. The beach is accessible by direct access a few dozen meters away.

Perfect house especially for the summer, extremely beautiful and with impeccable and creative decoration, made the experience much more memorable. Carolina and her sister were sweet and the communication was great and constant. Everything is clean and has everything you need. The pool was nice with a wonderful view of the mountains. We felt completely comfortable with Sabrina and Hélio. The apartment is unique and designed with great attention to detail in the style of a boathouse - a real place of well-being. Everything has been thought of: The kitchen is excellently equipped, it was sparkling clean and nothing is missing. The location is wonderfully quiet and the sea is very close. WOW. What a fabulous weekend with my friend and her mum just the 3 ladies spent a wonderful weekend in this beautiful relaxing house. The most calming garden uber no more than €5 to Porto town pre booked Uber to airport early hours only €15 Can hear roads slightly but didn’t bother us at all Lovely pool area and seating area highly recommend and would love to return. My parents also looking at this for themselves

Our stay was excellent. The location is great, close to the airport. The studio was excellent, had everything we needed. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, as well as the shower. Everything was very clean. Nuno was very helpful and responded right away to any question I had. Would stay here again if I'm in the area. Definitely would recommend this place.

Very nice place to stay!

We were in Madeira for the first time and lived in Ana's beautiful apartment for 9 days. Ana is a very friendly, helpful and warm hostess, she lives in the same house above the apartment. Her niece Beatriz - with whom communication was by phone - was always available and very helpful if something should be. The apartment is wonderfully located with panoramic views, which is wonderful. Everything was available, super equipped, everything very clean, the outdoor area very nice. We felt very comfortable and thank Ana and Beatriz again for their hospitality.

Such a great relaxing stay. The beach was beautiful and restaurants were walkable and delicious! We will return!

We had a nice holiday with our family. The house is very clean and tidy. A cupboard with toys for our daughter was very popular. The pool was wonderful and there are several places in the garden to sit. We also received a basket of peas from our own harvest and my daughter was allowed to pick fresh strawberries. Very nice and welcoming. Recommended if you are looking for a quiet stay in a quiet area.

The apartment is true to the description. The best thing is the pool and the space around it that is shared with other tenants, but we rarely saw them. Inside we only missed that the TV was only in French (although you can access apps like Netflix) and an oven, but both things did not seem essential to us. Didier was very friendly and hospitable. Too bad we couldn't talk much because we don't speak the same languages. We had a small problem in the apartment due to a lack of understanding, but as soon as we understood each other, he solved it quickly. The house is close to Foz do Arelho (within walking distance) and the beach. Foz is small, quiet and pleasant with a few restaurants and shops. A 15-minute drive away you have Caldas da Rainha with all the amenities (hypermarkets, restaurants...). In short: an apartment without great luxuries but with the essentials, with a spectacular outdoor space and close to the beach. Very nice hosts.

Elió and Ju are fantastic hosts! Communication and access to the house was flawless and the place itself is a little gem. But what stood out was their engagement in making us feel at home. Elió not only provided dining and cultural recommendations but even arranged beach toys for our 18 month old son. Thanks for the very pleasant stay! We would be happy to return again.
