Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Portugal

Our stay was perfect. Teresa and Jorge are wonderful hosts, who have pampered us throughout our stay. They are always available and looking to satisfy any wishes or needs we may have. The house is really unique and special, full of history and beautiful decoration, antiques and exquisite details. Children and adults have been so comfortable with the pool, the weather, the barbecue, the outdoor furniture,... that we have enjoyed the house more than the obligatory tourist visits to the city and the area. 100% Recommended

Sofia was the most lovely host. Her place is stunning. I could have hung out there all day, but I also wanted to see Lisbon! She left us a nice assortment of groceries to get us started. Great location. Ten minute walk to the subway, which quickly gets one to the more busy areas of Lisbon. Super easy to get around. Grocery store less than 5 minutes away. I highly recommend Sofia's apartment. Thanks to Sofia, I found the flea market, which I would have never known about. Such fun! Sofia's decor collection and styling is beautiful and very much appreciated. Thank you Sofia!

Lovely apartment and great hosts!

This apartment is suited for whomever wants direct acces to Barrio Alto but without the tourist rush. Is very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The appliances work, shower pressure is very good. The host was extremely determined to make us feel comfortable. And we were. We also enjoyed the neighborhood, veery good wine var just across the street. All in one, a wonderful experience! And also tks for the wine, water and coffee capsules!

We enjoyed Porto and Green Cottage very much. City park and beach on foot, with the bus just into the city, Atlantic and the long promenade on the Douro a force. Constanza and Nuno were always available. Thanks to Constanza for her recommendations. We will recommend Green Cottage,

Perfect location, we had all the comfort we needed In the chale and waking up to all this nature couldn't ask more! Sr Carlos was a true super host!

The welcoming of Pedros family is super warm and full of heart! We got eggs from the ducks that we ate for breakfast. Just lovely.

This was a beautiful place to stay with such kind hosts. Everything was perfect, so clean, peaceful, we felt right at home. Highly recommend this place if visiting Lagos. We would love to come back again.

Worthwhile change from the standard AirBnb. It has more space and is more akin to a very upmarket bed and breakfast. Shared bathroom with one other room, not a problem and highlight was the provision of washing service for a small fee. Nice to share breakfast in a large breakfast room with other travellers. Recommended for those wanting a different AirBnb experience.

Ives and his wife Julie are super nice hosts. Always courteous, very friendly and always helpful. They are always nearby and you can contact them if you have any questions. They give you great tips for your stay in Madeira :) The room is great, as well as the location and the pool. Breakfast is prepared with a lot of love and the muesli in the morning is homemade. Even the yogurt was made especially for us. We felt totally comfortable and would gladly come back.

We had a wonderful stay with Michel and Emy. We felt taken care of and almost as if we'd be part of the family. Michel provided very insightful tips about restaurants and places to visit. The home is quite lovely, and they prepare a very complete and tasty breakfast. The location is perfect to visit the lovely Azeitao center and explore the beautiful Arrabida beaches. I absolutely recommend Michel and Emy as hosts, and we'd love to go back again!

I had a fantastic stay at Zenit B&B with Rose and Gino. From the moment I arrived, their warm and genuine welcome made me feel at home. The B&B is perfectly located in the heart of Olhão’s old town — close to restaurants and the harbor, yet peaceful. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was well taken care of, with a nice variety of fruit. Rose and Gino are the heart of Zenit B&B — and you can truly feel that in their hospitality. My husband and I absolutely loved this stay, and hope to be back soon. The room was clean, beautifully decorated with big windows and a gorgeous view. The staff were friendly and approachable, and very accommodating of our extra requests. Every detail of this place was thoughtfully made right down to the continental breakfast. A really lovely room just like the photos. The family were all very welcoming and helpful. They allowed us to check in early as the room was ready and looked after our bags on our last day .We had a fantastic meal one evening in their restaurant, not to be missed . The only down side was it’s a reasonable walk to the old town of Porto but if you don’t mind that it’s a lovely place to stay

5 stars aren't enough! amazing place, pristinely clean, amazing friendly staff. the room is very clean and has a great bed and comfortable mattress. spacious bathroom. they have a small kitchen where you can use a small fridge, microwave, kettle, etc. if you have the chance, include breakfast as it is very good. totally worth.

We were greeted right away by Mariana, who was so helpful and friendly! She gave us great recommendations for things to do and places to eat, and was always quick to respond to any questions through Airbnb messaging. The room was very clean, breakfast was delicious, and the woman in the dining area was very kind. The little courtyard was adorable — my daughter and I even enjoyed takeout there one evening. The honor bar was a nice surprise with a great selection. The location is very walkable with so much to see in town. We wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Ana is friendly and amazing host. The villa was a great choice, waking up in a calm surrounding, close to the nicest beaches of the region. Highly recommended.

Very large house with everything you need. There were 14 of us and we occupied 7 rooms, each with a bathroom. The refrigerator failed and Tiago replaced it the same day. Perfect place to visit the Douro and the surrounding cities but a little far from Porto. Access to the house is via the back street.

Artti & Isabella go above and beyond to make you feel at home and welcome. Their love for the place, Portugal and people shows and it really is a super nice house to spend some chillaxed or active days at. Breakfast and dinners are amazing!! So make sure to attend some while you are there ;) Highly recommend!

We are currently on a round trip in Portugal and are glad that we spent four nights with Georgia and Marcio! Next time, I'd love to stay longer! We like to have the space on the porch for breakfast and in the evening for a glass of wine. Wonderfully suited as a starting point to discover the Algarve! Thank you so much for the nice time! Lugar da Pedra Altra is a very special place, the host were very helpful and we had a very memorable holiday. We stayed there as a group of eight, two families and we had enough space, and the breakfast that they supplied was very enjoyable. We would look to visit again in the future
