Holiday rentals with a home cinema in Portugal

Good communication from host. We had to collect the keys from a local box about a minute from the house which wasn't an issue but a little difficult to find. Car parking instructions could have been clearer, it's underground but didn't tell us which road to access it from. The apartment was spacious and as described. There was no toiletries so bring your own. Good location and quiet.

Great host, great place, great stay and... unbeatable view. Truly don't know what to write😀 everything was Perfecto👊 just give a try😇 The host is super subtle probably this was the most important thing. And ask them for local recommendations you won't regret it😀 By bye and see again (I hope 🤞)🤗🤗🤗

What can I say - from start to finish we had a great time at Aqua Villa Madalena. Our purpose for coming here was to attend Rally Portugal. The apartment was central to where we needed to go to see the stages of the Rally. Apart from this, the apartment was exceptional - so clean. Sonia as a host was so responsive and always available when needed ( which I hope wasn't too often for her!) Our children really enjoyed the pool, the place was so peaceful and quiet! An all-round fantastic holiday! Thank you so much Sonia and family!!! Hopefully we will visit again another time!

Recomendo vivamente o apartamento da Carla. Um check-in presencial não tem preço, nos dias que correm. Fomos recebidos com muita simpatia e fomos deixados à vontade desde o primeiro minuto, mal entrámos em casa. A casa é muito bem equipada e a limpeza irrepreensível. O acesso à praia é super prático e a proximidade do mercado de Sesimbra foi uma mais valia, onde se pode comprar produtos frescos, de grande qualidade, sem a confusão dos hipermercados. Voltaremos, certamente.

Casa dei sogni, pulitissima e completamente nuova: balcone e terrazza con vista 365°, sala lettura e cinema bellissima, cucina/soggiorno ampio, pulita e iper attrezzata . La casa offre davvero tutti i comfort ed è curata nei minimi dettagli (prima volta che trovo non solo bagno schiuma, shampoo, asciugamani etc, ma anche olio, sale e spezie varie, plastic/food wrap, caffè e ogni altra cosa che facilita il soggiorno fin dall'arrivo). Rodrigo e Rossana sono host davvero speciali e sempre pronti ad aiutare. Abbiamo prenotato solamente un paio di settimane prima del soggiorno e l'appartamento era una dei pochi rimasti disponibili ad un prezzo ragionevole: dopo esservi entrati ci siamo stupiti del rapporto qualità/prezzo, direi imbattibile per Funchal, anche considerando che l'appartamento può ospitare fino a 4/5 persone! Assolutamente consigliato, e se mai dovessi tornare a Madeira (bellissima), sicuramente proverò a riprenotare questo appartamento

Die Wohnung war tadellos sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die gesamte Anlage ist traumhaft, mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht und absolut ruhiger Lage. Auch verkehrstechnisch ist die Unterkunft ideal gelegen – man ist in wenigen Minuten unkompliziert auf der Schnellstraße in beide Richtungen, perfekt, um die Insel zu erkunden. Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch die traumhafte Parksituation – für lokale Verhältnisse wirklich außergewöhnlich gut und bequem. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt – eine absolute Empfehlung!

Just returned from a short break at this apartment. We arrived late in the evening but the staff on site were friendly and directed us straight to the apartment. Check in was easy with the coded door and everything was clean and well prepared on arrival. The apartment is modern with enough facilities for a pleasant stay. The complex is quiet and peaceful. The swimming pool is big and there are plenty sun loungers for a relaxing day in the sun. The complex has a pool bar / restaurant that is open daily servicing drinks, food, ice cream etc so this is really convenient. The marina is a short walk away offering lots of bars, restaurants and shops. Old town is a 15-20 minute walk away and is great to spend the evening in. New town is a short taxi ride away if you want to venture this far - there is no need as the Marina and Old Town offer much more than the New Town. We would stay here again if we return to Portugal in the future. Thank you.

What a little gem in a great location. Has everything I needed and more. Will definitely be back to stay a little longer. Just a heads up that it’s not very private, as goes with an annex :). The owners are right next doors and so are possible other renters. When you sit outside, other people might be around. Still absolutely loved it, but it’s good to know :)

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt bei Olesea. Alles hat zur Beschreibung der Unterkunft gepasst. Die untere Ebene war, wie beschrieben eher niedrig was die Deckenhöhe anging, große Leute sollten das beachten. Von Gaula aus waren wir sehr gut angebunden zu Zielen im Osten und Norden der Insel.

Отличный большой дом, в котором есть все необходимое, такие детали как тапочки и порошок были особенно приятны. В пешей доступности есть кафе, продуктовый магазин. В 10 мин на машине одна из красивейших (и лично моя самая любимая) локаций на острове. До аэропорта и столицы острова около 50мин на машине. Отдельно хочу отметить доброжелательную коммуникацию с управляющим, на любые вопросы мы получали супер быстрый ответ. С удовольствием, вернусь снова.

Heli was very helpful, friendly and checked in on us to make sure everything ok. House and gardens were excellent with lots of facilities. Plunge pool was lovely and a great asset to the garden as was the covered seating area to get some shade when needed. Road was very busy traffic wise so a bit noisy at night from the front bedroom. Air conditioning in the bedrooms would be a bonus but fans provided in all rooms. Would highly recommend this property and will be back. Thank you Heli for a lovely, relaxing enjoyable stay x

We had a lovely week at the house and the surrounding nature. The house was beautifully located, well equipped and clean! Although we had very rainy weather during our stay, we still enjoyed beautiful hikes and the house offered a cosy refuge for us. Would stay here again and would definitely recommend it to anyone else. Thank you for the hospitality António!

Uma experiência a repetir! Fui previamente contactado se forma a saber a hora de entrada na casa e quando chegámos a casa estava com uma temperatura super acolhedora em todas as divisões. A Linda fez questão de deixar um cabaz com produtos da zona que estavam maravilhosos. A cozinha super bem equipada, como tudo o que era necessário para uma estadia e família e amigos. Toda a habitação estava bem cuidada, limpa e com vários detalhes que nos faziam sentir em casa.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay! The view, pool, and outdoor areas made it feel like you were at your own private resort. We were also blown away by how spotless the entire home was and with the amount of kitchen supplies provided it was as though you were cooking from your own kitchen! While the location was about 15 minutes away from town, there were several local restaurants nearby that had really great food. We did a lot of driving around the island during our stay and found it to be a very central, yet private, location. Olga and Alexander were also amazing hosts. Always very communicative and helpful. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a home during their trip to Madeira :)

This has probably been the been AirBnB I have ever stayed in. The new house built on top of an ancient mill is really special and very welcoming with great attention to detail, the host was extremely welcoming and attentive to our requests and the location of the house allowed both for sightseeing in Guimaraes and Braga, as well as for excursions to the mountains and the sea side. We stayed for a week and the longer we stayed the more we appreciated our living environment in the middle of a flowing river stream.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. The house is stunningly designed. We especially loved the huge windows with stunning views of the garden. The towels and bed sheets were of amazing quality, the kitchen was fully equipped, the TV projector was amazing and the fact that the garden is so huge you that can go for a walk in it is mindblowing! And even though the weather wasn't sunny, the low clouds added a cozy atmosphere that made our stay feel even more special. Dinis was always responsive and available to answer any questions. The only thing was that while the listing mentioned parking on premises, it wasn’t available for us during our stay. This led us to park on the narrow, bumpy street outside. However, this was a minor inconvenience, and it didn’t take away from how much we enjoyed our time here. We would absolutely come back and highly recommend this place!

I had a wonderful time during my stay at Janna's place. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location was perfect, close to the beach and local shops. Janna was a fantastic host, always available to help and very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to others and would love to come back again!

Ottima esperienza, l’alloggio è a 5 minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria di Santa Apolónia, dove si può prendere anche la linea blu della metropolitana. Mario è stato gentilissimo, è davvero una brava persona. La stanza ha tutto quello che serve ed è molto spaziosa, anche il bagno è molto confortevole. È stato bellissimo conoscere i suoi cani, se li amate vi troverete benissimo!

We couldn't be happier with the place. The location, the check-in, Maria's communication were all 10 our of 10, and then the design of the gorgeous apartment is so enjoyable as well as having everything you could need. Many of our friends live in Lisbon and visited and told us this is the nicest apartment they have seen, they were also blown away by the layout, the style and design. The place is so bright and airy ensuring you never get stuffy or too hot. The area is great and convenient to restaurants, parks, supermarkets, metro while also being a quiet spot down their street. We absolutely loved our stay!
