Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Portage

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean and welcoming. The bathroom had a nice shower with good water pressure. The bed was comfortable and provided a restful sleep. Any questions I had, Siobhan responded very quickly and pleasantly. We went to a beer festival in nearby Munster and this was a great location to stay in.

Such a perfect place for a fun quick getaway close to Indiana dunes state park and Washington park beach. Walkable to restaurants, coffee shops, outlet mall and farmers market.

5 star for sure! This place is a hidden gem, its so clean and has so many little extras to make you feel at home. I found seasoning to cook with,.coffee, tea, cream and sugar..and even a couple of pods for laundry. All of that plus an easy check-in, great parking space in the back (which you will need since street parking can be dicey) and the friendly neighbors made my stay wonderful. I stayed 7 nights and it is quiet at night so I felt very safe and got a good nights rest each night. I will definitely book again!!!

This was our second stay at this listing, and just like the first time, it was excellent. Everything was clean and well-maintained. We couldn’t ask for a better place to stay—just a few blocks from the center of Crown Point, which offers a great variety of shops and restaurants.

We had an amazing time! Me and my boyfriend stayed for one night, the patio and dock were super cozy and we really enjoyed sitting out there at night just listening to music and having some drinks. Super nice area, the beach isn't too far and they have some fun bars and restaurants in the area. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

We've stayed here a few times and keep coming back. Great location and amenities along with a stocked fire pit and a hot tub. What more could you ask for? Hannah is the best!

I came for the Beyoncé concert and the place was pristine. It was kind of a perfect storm of things.

My family and I had a lovely summer Indiana Dunes weekend at Jill’s place. The house was clean, cozy, and well-stocked. We loved the bikes and covered back porch. It was nice to be right on the Calumet trail, in biking distance to beaches. We took a 25 minute drive to Garwood’s and came home with a boatload of strawberries, and took a beautiful sunset dip in Lake Michigan. Thanks for the fun weekend!

Charming historic home walking distance to quaint shops, European Market on Saturdays. Two porches- one screened in and the other with windows and screens were a special feature for relaxing and cooling down bug free and watching market-goers pass on the sidewalk walking their dogs. Pretty residential neighborhood near main st. Large formal dining area felt homey. Updated kitchen and bathroom in otherwise vintage home with older built-in cupboards and closet areas. If your travel party includes adults using different rooms, be aware one room is bunk bed, so an adult will not be able to sit up in bed. Mattresses were comfortable. Pillows are soft and low fill, so if you like a Medium/Firm maybe bring your own pillow. There is a train fairly close by, so if a light sleeper, something to create white noise may be helpful. Hosts provided a laminated sheet of instructions on counter, but we did not see until after trying to figure out shower- there is a ring on tub faucet that pulls down.

This is the second time we've stayed in Nancy's lovely home and we hope to return soon! The contemporary style features high ceilings and enormous windows overlooking a wooded lot and a graceful dune. The generous size of the living area and kitchen made it easy for our family to hang out together after a day in the Indiana Dunes National Park. You're only minutes from the lake, great hiking, and a restaurant we really enjoyed (Goblin and the Grocer) but the secluded, private setting makes you feel as if you're in the middle of nowhere ... perfect for city folks trying to get away from it all. Nancy is a great host, and her home features plenty of thoughtful touches to make your stay relaxing and comfortable. After a day of hiking and exploring, it was wonderful to return to this tranquil place. We can't wait to go back!

This was such a cute, cozy, and clean place to stay for a weekend trip! The house provided everything we did need and anything we could have needed. Hosts went above an beyond to make sure we were welcomed, including a personal note and bottle of wine, and they checked in to ensure everything met our expectations. Location were close to all attractions and was in a nice neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again!

Eileen was a great host! The space was beautiful and plenty for my husband and our two kids. She was extremely responsive and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. Highly recommend if you’re looking to stay in Michigan City!

I absolutely adore this listing! It looks just like the photos, very easy instructions to follow, and a cute little neighborhood! Definitely check this place out the decorations and overall aesthetic of this house is adorable, not to mention it was very clean and homey definitely coming back :)

One block from the beach without the buzz. Feels residential and safe. Place is very clean. Have everything we need. Great place to explore the Indiana dunes national park. Would recommend

It was a very cozy apartment with a nice set up. Easy access to university of Chicago and the lakefront trail. We really enjoyed our stay!

When we were first looking for a place to stay, none of the available AirB&Bs looked great. A week later, we looked again, and suddenly Julia's place popped up. It was so much better looking, and with a fairer price, than any others I could find in the list. A two-bedroom that is a *real* two-bedroom, for the price that others were charging for a pull-out bed in the living room. It was just as beautiful in-person. We felt immediately at-home and comfortable. I'm someone who has insomnia, especially while traveling, but there, I had no problem sleeping somehow. Also, it truly is a short walk to the Blue Line, or even a just few steps from the 77 bus route, which goes to the Blue Line, or all the way right into downtown Chicago.

My daughter and I stayed at Izakaya Studio on a recent visit to Chicago. The studio is great and Brett made it so easy to locate everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The next time we stay I hope to spend more time exploring the neighborhood because there were so many restaurants and shops to choose from (lots of open-air patios and decks which would be so nice during the summer season). The walk to the blue line El stop felt safe and quick. We loved the studio's layout. The kitchen and bedroom areas were separate and Brett has two big, comfy chairs for relaxing, and ample island space for eating or using as a work space. My daughter had some virtual work meetings and the Wi-Fi was reliable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you'd need for meal prep. We ate out each day, but our delicious breakfast take-out came from a place right up the street called Yolk. I highly recommend the Izakaya Studio for a relaxing and fun visit to Chicago.

Great location and property!

The time spent here was wonderful. This place has everything you need to feel at home away from home. Everything was clean and comfortable. The area was also really nice with tons of food and drinks within walking distance. The blue line is a short walk away and the busses run on the corner. I would definitely stay here again when coming back to Chicago.

This is a WONDERFUL one bedroom apartment that is both private and spacious! The owner/host has the space fabulously decorated with an eclectic mix of original contemporary artwork and antiques. Nothing is generic about the space and it has been outfitted for guests with loving care. The host, Kaye, clearly puts much trust in her guests with her charming decor and furnishings. The amount of space, the privacy and the home-y feel make it a place we'd love to return to.

Beautiful place to stay in Pilsen area just what we wanted! Close to downtown and amazing places to eat all around. Easy access to a lot of things to do. Beautiful place, extremely clean! We definitely enjoyed our stay at Laura’s!
