What a wonderful stay our family had in Michiana Shores, Indiana at Greg’s place. Even though 2 of the 3 days were mostly overcast / rain, there was still plenty of activities to do. We hung out in the pool & hot tub areas multiple times, had a fire every night, and cooked all 3 meals each day in the wonderfully maintained kitchen. The kids loved their room setup with the bunk bed and twin bed. The parks nearby are lovely. The backyard was very luscious with tranquility full of greenery and peacefulness. Greg was very responsive and helped us out with questions before and during our stay. Definitely would recommend this spot if you are wanting to take a vacation near the nationally known Indiana Sand Dunes. Overall 5+ stars!

My girlfriends and I had a great stay! Ann’s place was peaceful and beautiful. We enjoyed relaxing outside, watching the animals and soaking in the hot tub. We will definitely be back!

This house was so beautiful and was a perfect place to spend a girl’s weekend! Would recommend over and over again and would definitely stay here again! Mike was also very quick at responding (even on the weekend) and when something wasn’t right he was very quick it fix it.

We all walked in and said WOW! It was beautiful and had so much charm. We have stayed in many rentals and this was by far the cleanest and most organized. We traveled with 3 couples and there was plenty of room to gather and socialize and room to just chill by yourself. The boardwalk made for a wonderful morning walk. Brittany was a terrific host answering any questions I had and providing a list of thing to do in the area. Certainly worth the money! We would definitely stay again. Rita

I recently stayed with a few of my girlfriends for the weekend here. My friends and I absolutely loved this place. It was in a picturesque setting, and we loved how cozy it was. We especially enjoyed having the hot tub, the access to the public pool with clubhouse, and being able to walk to the beach to see the sunsets. We were able to enjoy a fire every night within the fire pit and loved being near the woods and the pond. Kristen was extremely responsive and a great host. My girlfriends and I would definitely stay again. We absolutely loved it here! Location is perfect for visiting lots of restaurants, wineries, and enjoying the best of Southwest Michigan.

We had an amazing stay to celebrate a milestone birthday with my extended family! The house comfortably fit 4 families and a labradoodle and was excellent for the 5 kiddos. The heated pool and hot tub were fantastic for cooler than expected temperatures Memorial Day weekend and kept the kids entertained. We opted to cook and grill at the house and had everything we needed. The house is also super close to the beautiful New Buffalo beach. We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Jennifer’s house! It was clean, great location & cozy! We especially loved the automatic pool cover so we could actually relax on vacation with our little ones running around. I also loved the three separate areas outside (pool, fire pit, grassy area). The separate areas offered a nice change of scenery to break up the day without leaving the house. I also loved that it’s a spacious ranch style house, so was easy to keep eyes on the kids. Jennifer was a wonderful & accommodating host & can’t wait to get back to her house soon! Thanks for having us!

Quaint, peaceful, perfect for a couple, overlooking a gorgeous lake. 10 mins drive to downtown. Great WiFi and thankfully no TV. Loved every minute. All amenities included. Would like to stay again.

The house was in a great location! We arrived by bicycle and were easily able to get a route to the house from the dune land bike trail. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was just as described. Highly recommend!

The house was charming and we loved the mid century modern furnishings. We slept well and easily walked to the beach with our small dogs many times! The kitchen was well-stocked, the yard was lovely, the bathroom pristine, and if you have the need, there are so many dog treats, toys and blankets! The people living in this area are friendly and warm. It felt like home and we would definitely return!

We had a wonderful stay at this property, it truly felt like a home away from home. The entire place was exceptionally clean, and the kitchen and dining area were spacious and easy to move around in. Both bedrooms were spotless, and the mattresses were incredibly comfortable. If you’re looking for a quiet, private place to stay, this is the perfect choice. I would definitely stay here again! 😊

Wow! What an amazing place to stay. The house is lovely and the setting is beautiful. You're literally surrounded by nature and all it's glory. The home is loaded with so many things to do, but we spent most of our time just looking out the big windows at all the animals that came to visit. Our hosts were most gracious. They are very responsive and do their best to take care of your needs as soon as possible. I highly recommend anyone looking for a place to stay near the Indiana Dunes to choose this location. The Blue Birdhouse was the perfect weekend getaway for my husband and me and our pup! The house was quaint and comfortable with everything we needed. The highlight for us was the proximity to both the National and State Parks! In less than 10 minutes we were parking and out on the trail! There were also plenty of great restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores within a 10 min radius. Downtown Valparaiso is a 20 min drive if you’re looking for a little something extra. We would highly recommend Michael’s place to any couple or small family looking to explore NW Indiana!

Very well thought through place for every detail, with a mix of 70s wood style and some higher tech upgrades like the main bathroom mirror with light and anti fog, or sensor lights. Kate was very responsive and accommodating for the 1 baby & 1 toddler we asked for. The place was stocked with all necessary items especially in the kitchen with appliances and cutlery, coffee, tea. There were 2 hairdryers, nice shampoo and conditioner, shower gel.

Stayed for a long weekend and had an amazing time! I plan a trip for a few friends every year and Ashley was by far the most amazing owner of the houses we've rented so far! She made sure everything was clean, answered questions quickly and thoroughly, and made sure she was available of we needed anything during our stay. The house itself was great with plenty of room for larger groups, kitchen stocked, and very tidy. Overall, amazing trip!

Had the absolute pleasure of taking my wife to Rudy + Deanna's Airbnb to celebrate our first anniversary. Both co-hosts were very responsive, very friendly, and shared a ton of useful local knowledge for us to make our weekend special! The Airbnb itself was gorgeous - pristine inside with all the amenities you could need. The four of us (two dogs, yes they are pet friendly) had a wonderful time and would absolutely recommend this place to others wishing to visit Michigan City! Thanks again!

The house was absolutely lovely—very clean, comfortable, and just minutes away from the beach. It was exactly as described, and even better in person. The space was accessible, which made our stay even more convenient. The host was also very responsive and attentive throughout our visit. We had a great experience and would definitely stay here again!

Lots of space for my family and Inwhom were visiting from out of town. The kids loved the karaoke machine and little popcorn machine. I didn’t realize 2 beds upstairs were toddler beds, but It was accommodating. Super cute.

Simply beautiful! My daughter ( 7 year old) and my goddaughter ( 5 year old) enjoyed themselves! We loved the layout, beautiful scenery, spacious rooms, the updated amenities, the spa bathtub and the outdoor patio swing is amazing! This house is somewhere you can relax and rewind, enjoy yourself and feel safe at! Angie, is the best! I recommend you stay at Angie’s beach house! You will love this house!!!!!!

This cute house is well equipped, easy to get to and has walkable places to eat & to the beach. The beds were super comfortable and lots of nice towels. We came up to do some birding so didn’t use all the beach equipment but it is easily accessible. Our host was easy to reach out to and agreeable. I’d stay there again.
