Monthly Rentals in Port Stanton

Good value. We were looking for something humble and didn't want to break the bank. This is a very nice spot with that special something. We were snowed in our entire stay but the space was well set up for that, with TV's in each room with internet and apps. Really kind host. I would recommend this place and we would book again.

We were 4 adults, 1 child and 1 toddler. Sarah's cottage is perfectly located - it faces the lake, which is huge, boats, life jackets, etc. are provided and the host is extremely clear in their communication. There was an unexpected issue which came up and which couldn't be rectified till after our booking ended, but I was made aware of it in advance of my trip and Sarah was very transparent in her communication, which I appreciate a lot. The cottage was just a 10 min drive from the main highway, and 15 min drive from the nearest convenience store, so it wasn't that bad. The lake was pristine with some fish in it too, and on days when it was not windy, the water was quite clear too. To top it all, the bright orange ball during sunset won our hearts. We had a great relaxing time and would recommend this to anyone looking for a perfect getaway, just about 2 hours away from GTA.

My friends and I stayed here for a winter weekend away and it was just what we needed/wanted in a little cottage. Great location for those coming from the GTA and nice and close for those in Simcoe. Once we got there we felt right at home! The hosts had cleared the walking paths and back deck of any recent snow fall which made it nice and easy to get inside and enjoy the grounds. They went above and beyond by having the wood burning stove going for us when we checked in which made CARL that much more cozy and welcoming. Communication and instructions were very clear and detailed from start to finish which made the whole rental process easy and enjoyable. My friends and I look forward to coming back to CARL in the future!

we had a concert at Casino Rama and this was a great place to spend the night. it was very quiet, peaceful and close to the casino.
