Cottage holiday rentals in Port Stanton

This is a beautiful place to stay, right on the lake with an amazing view, and a friendly beaver right next door! Our highlights were the hot tub, the fire pit and kayaking on the lake. This spot would be amazing in the Summer. The house is clean and well set up, the 2 downstairs bedrooms are small but just fine for sleeping. There is plenty of room in the rest of the house.

We loved Jess' place. Very cozy and felt like home. The location and house are perfect for a city escape. The area is relaxing and quiet, and all the locals seem nice. One kind neighbour even shared his logs with us to help with the fire.

Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Muskoka cabin. Great views of the lake and was really fun to go out on the canoe and kayaks. The cabin was cozy and nice with a great kitchen and awsome living room for hanging out and relaxing. Host was extremely responsive and nice. She provided helpful clear instructions and information. Would love to go back.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage in the woods! It was clean, spacious, and incredibly peaceful — the perfect nature escape. The hot tub was amazing, and the game room was such a fun bonus. We also loved how cozy and comfortable the beds were, and the living room and big kitchen made it easy to relax and enjoy meals together. Just a heads-up: there are quite a few mosquitos, so be sure to bring some bug spray. Other than that, everything was perfect. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature!

Chorong was a great host! Leading up to our stay she was extremely responsive as I had a lot of questions! The house itself was stunning. Clearly it is taken care of and maintained very well. All of the beds were so comfortable. Outdoor area was a lovely space. Would definitely like to come back in the winter as I am sure the scenery is beautiful.

This island cottage was everything I hoped it would be and so much more. The privacy was exactly what I was looking for. It was clean and decorated beautifully. The peaceful serene feeling of being on the island was what I enjoyed most. I would recommend this place as number one so far on Airbnb for me. I will be coming back for sure!

I was so happy to find Carol’s lovely, cozy, homey cottage. It has a warm, welcoming feeling the moment you step through the door. I think it’s all the beautiful hand hewn wood and stone features that give the cottage its immediate warmth. It has everything you need for a great stay. And I love being able to throw open all the windows and feel the fresh air. One of my favourite birds is the chickadee, and it’s delightful to sit and watch them come to the window feeder. Your idea of adding a hummingbird feeder is lovely. I really appreciated that Carol made sure to explain that this is not a high end, fancy place … but a quiet, serene, comfortable haven. I will definitely contemplate another visit to this welcoming little cottage that is so easy to call home for a quiet retreat. Without meeting Carol personally, I have the sense that she is a lovely, warm, caring person, who is attentive and committed to providing a welcoming and comfortable space for a quiet get away. Everything was exactly as pictured and described. Pavlena was very thorough with very detailed instructions and information about everything you would need to know. Self check in was very easy. House was well stocked with anything you might need besides food itself. Setting was beautiful and extremely private. Highly recommend.

Beautiful, clean cottage on a beautiful lake! Loved the sauna and the deck down by the dock. Was the perfect size for the 6 of us. Kitchen was great, beds were super comfortable. Would come back for sure.

This cottage is perfection. Liane & James are just SO lovely. If you're reading this, don't look any further. Just book it. We couldn't have had a better week at Follie's Cove. The cottage was the perfect mix of modern and rustic. Clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. We felt at home instantly. The sunroom was the perfect chill spot for us and our two big dogs to get out of the sun/rain without feeling cooped up indoors. The beach was heaven for our dogs, and on a quiet end of the lake, so we saw few other people all week. The quintessential Muskoka experience! Liane and James were *beyond* wonderful. They set us up with a ton of breakfast food and desserts. Even offered to return the day after check-in to drop off more coffee. It truly felt like renting from friends. Highly recommend renting the pontoon boat from them and puttering around the lake. Wish I had more space to gush about the space and their incredible hospitality. We would book again in a heartbeat!

Jasmine and Devin provided myself and my family with a luxurious stay in their home. They were both helpful, responsive, usually responding within 5 minutes. The property was outstanding, peaceful, beautiful. Spacious for both my 3 other guests and 2 dogs. The kitchen and living room were both comfortable and very easy to navigate. Everything was very well presented. The bedrooms were warm and welcoming with the linens perfectly made and folded towels. The backyard is spectacular and dreamy like out of a movie scene. The backyard is fenced in and spacious, perfect for dogs and children. The fire pit was enclosed with large rocks, surrounded with muskoka chairs providing a beautiful view of the river and passing boats. The fire pit area also provided a set of overhead lights creating a beautiful ambience. The neighbors were very friendly and welcoming as well. I would highly recommended this Airbnb to anyone wishing for a getaway with the family or to themselves. Five stars!

Derek and Katie were awesome hosts. Super easy to communicate with before and during our stay, and really flexible with check-in and check-out, which we really appreciated. They answered any questions we had right away and made the whole experience super smooth! The place was clean, cozy, and had an amazing view. Susan is a great host, very responsive and accommodating. The home was fully equipped with everything you would find in your own home, as well everything was clean. Beautiful sunsets on the dock on a peaceful lake. Highly recommend renting the extra kayak and SUP boards.

Our small family loved Ina’s cottage! It was clean, beautiful, and quite serene. Although the photos are quite accurate, they don’t capture just how gorgeous this cottage is. It’s situated right on the lake, which was never too busy. We would definitely return in the future!

We had a great stay at Canoe Relax. The kitchen is perfectly stocked and the baby monitor that Ben provided was soooo helpful. All the amenities, living space and supplies were in great shape. We would definitely return here in the future.

Alex was friendly and quick to respond to any inquiry. The cottage was beautiful, clean, with comfortable beds and everything you could think of that you may need. The surroundings were amazing and the hot tub and sauna were great added perks. We thoroughly enjoyed everything including sitting around the fire looking over the peaceful water. We came to The Treetop Cottage for a few days after our wedding in Port Severn. It was the perfect place to unwind and relax. We felt right at home instantly. The cottage is extremely clean and cozy, and very private. You are submerged in trees and we loved waking up to the sounds of chipmunks and woodpeckers. We enjoyed our time on the dock, playing cards on the deck, nights by the fire and cozying up on the couch for some movies. Frank and Danny are extremely friendly and responsive, and even left us wine and a nice card. We would definitely book here again!

The property's location was excellent, and we especially loved the beautiful lake views from many rooms. The fire pit by the water was a highlight, and the spacious backyard proved perfect for Matcha's first trip with us. We certainly hope to return in the future!
