Monthly Rentals in Pognana Lario

Louise was so sweet and her home is a little gem with the BEST bathtub EVER in the bedroom. Such a cool place and very roomie for a couple. Beautiful decor! Love the interior design touches mixing the old stone with more modern elements. The only negative was finding parking. Luckily we found a little spot all the way down the hill in front of the school….but this is Lake Como so we’re used to hiking up the hill!:) Just an FYI for anyone with mobility issues. We loved our stay and especially loved our meals out on the deck and also enjoyed Villa Lario built into the cliff just below. Fun experience:) We’d love to return sometime!

The home was great! Large enough for our family to spread out yet quaint. The owners were so sweet and we barely knew they were there. Every question was answered quickly about where to shop and eat. We had plenty of linens and toiletries left for us including charcoal and laundry and dish soap. We had all we needed to cook for our family of 4. There are a lot of stairs which was described in the listing.

The accommodation is excellent for those who want to explore the Lake Como area by car. It is exactly as in the pictures, the view from the balcony is absolutely fabulous and it is worth starting your day with a coffee from there. Absolutely everything you could need on a holiday you will find, impeccable cleanliness and excellent attitude of Carla. From the public parking spaces you have to walk about 5-7 minutes but it is fully worth this little daily effort.

Had a really nice end of my trip here. Avoid staying in Como itself, rather stay somewhere like this with a lake view. Balcony was great, plenty of room, and a nice bar/restaraunt across the street. Highly reccomend a rental car to get to and from here. Roads are good but there is only one way too and from, so take that into account if you are heading to the airport after. MXP is not the easiest airport to get through quickly. Lot to do around Como, so don't hesitate to spend a few days here.
