Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Playa del Carmen

Our stay at this beautiful villa in Playa del Carmen was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning design, immaculate cleanliness, and peaceful atmosphere. The villa is even more breathtaking in person, with luxurious touches throughout and a private pool that felt like our own tropical oasis. Jessica was an absolutely incredible host—attentive, kind, and full of helpful local recommendations that made our trip even more memorable. She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and truly made us feel at home. This was our third stay at Casa Dulce and it will NOT be our last. Great location in Playacar Fase 1 with a private pool to cool off in after walking around 5th Avenue (about 10 minute walk) or spending the day at the beach which is less than 2 blocks from the home. Alizee sent an email before our arrival with restaurant suggestions as well as suggestions of things to do. The AC was a definite plus. We would turn it on before bed and the room was nice and cool for sleeping. Highly recommend this Airbnb location in Playa del Carmen

Gustavo's place was just what we needed. Don't expect 5-star service, rather authentic Mexican living in an amazing place with 5 different outdoor locations to chill. There are leaves (it's a jungle paradise), and be careful for occasional branch that may fall. It's beautiful, serene, peaceful. There were also some bugs in the back (but it's a jungle paradise and we were there in May); one of the many terraces has a bug curtain that helps manage that. It's shady in the back, full sun on the shared rooftop (we didn't see anyone else up there). It's not a tourist neighborhood FYI! I've been to Playa del Carmen 4 different times, and this place was the best! Also the best local food close-by. So relaxing, and so many birds that sing all day! We spent most of the time in the casa. Pool has to be skimmed (the yard's greenery is spectacular -> leaves), but Gustavo is very responsive and helped run the filter mid-week as well. Gustavo speaks Spanish, use Google Translate if you need it.

Our stay at Casa Jaybird was amazing. We spent a month here and could have easily stayed longer. The location really can't be beat - a super quiet street right off 5th Avenue and walking distance to the beach. But for being so close to all the action, the home felt so private when you were inside. Elizabeth was always responsive and quick to answer our questions, and Samuel was always so kind and happy to help with anything around the house. We have young children so we had white noise machines in all the bedrooms, so we didn't have any concerns with the noise as some reviews mention. There was some construction nearby during the day but truly nothing that really bothered us. We'll be back!

Their communication was clear and timely, always making sure we had all the necessary information before our arrival. I was especially impressed by how they helped me bring my vision for my best friend’s bachelorette celebration to life. From connecting me with the concierge service, “Local Bird,” to offering tips on how to set up decorations and even suggesting the perfect areas in the home for our in home group massages, and welcoming our private chef, they made every detail seamless. Every host I had the pleasure of dealing with was polite, incredibly kind, and eager to make our stay as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. They were always just a message or call away, and their dedication truly made our stay special. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, it was a dream come true! 🙏🏽🥹💕

I just returned from my vacation and with a very good taste in my mouth, Bely a beautiful person always attentive and helped me a lot in matters of transfer helped me to contact someone I trust which I appreciate very much. The place is very clean and with places nearby to buy groceries, highly recommended and thank you Bely for being so attentive 😉

I enjoyed my stay at this little studio, the best part I would say was the very large deck and pool area. My only nitpick would be the size of the bed, its a double which for me 6'3 felt a little small when shared with someone. Other than that the place was clean and the surrounding area was very safe and walkable. I would say if you want to be in Hollywood, it's a great area.

as someone that stays at many airbnbs, i found this place almost perfect. the value is exceptional.

We really enjoyed our stay at David's place and highly recommend it! Especially appreciated the rooftop pool and the kitchen that allowed us to cook several meals. This apartment was a wonderful, peaceful oasis that was still close enough to easily walk to fifth avenue, the beach and the ADO bus station.

This place is excellent. I highly recommend staying here as its within walking distance to everything (beach, supermarket, and unlimited restaurants, bars, shops 5th Avenue and all the hot spots). The apartment had everything needed and more. We didn't use the balcony or the pool due to construction and dust everywhere, but other than that, it was excellent. You couldn't hear the construction from the bedroom, so it didn't bother us much. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable to me, but my husband didn't mind it too much. You can't please everyone with the bed, so it's fine. The room is really dark, so you will get some really good sleep in there. The gym is small, but had everything needed for a great workout. There is a sports complex right nextdoor too. Overall, I highly recommend this place as it has everything you need and more. we would definitely stay here again!

Very nice apartment, it matches the photos. The pool is also nice, even though it is shared with other guests. It is also super easy to access the famous 5th Avenue. Pablo was also attentive and responded quickly to messages, 10/10

Carlos was quick to respond with any questions or concerns we had. The pictures represented the space very well. Bed and couch were super comfy. Water pressure wasn’t ideal, but in large complex’s that can sometimes be the case.

I absolutely loved this condo and the location! The gym and rooftop pool are an amazing feature. It’s steps away from the quiet end of 5th ave and a 5 minute walk to the beach. The grocery store is nearby. Starbucks is a 2 minute walk for morning coffee. The condo is beautiful and I liked the extras (such as shampoo and conditioner provided). I loved it so much…. I stayed an extra day which Ronn facilitated promptly. He was kind and offered assistance but his instructions were so clear that we didn’t even need to ask him anything. Thanks for a wonderful stay in your beautiful condo! I will absolutely book with you again!!

We had a great vacation in Dovile's apartment. We were 2 adults and 2 small children (1 and 4 years old). Dovile kindly provided a cot and a highchair. The apartment has a great layout - the bedrooms are separated from the living room by a corridor. The terrace became our favorite place, where we spent a lot of time and often cooked food using the gas grill (Weber). The Vaiven Del Viento complex itself is very calm and peaceful. We will be happy to come back here again.

This was the perfect place to be without a car. We were able to walk to all the restaurants, the grocery store and the beach. We were trying out working remotely and the WiFi stayed strong and dependable. The space was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities. I would definitely recommend it.
