Apartment holiday rentals in Playa del Carmen

This rental was in the perfect location! So close to the beach and 38th. We ended up barely going to 5th, but that was close too. We ate almost every meal on 38th. Every restaurant was delicious! The pool was great, not busy at all. Plenty of chairs and beds to choose from. The pool bar opens at 12 and closes at 7 I think. We did see people having coffee and maybe some food there in the morning at one point, but we aren't sure what they have as far as that goes. We did not see another breakfast option at the condos. The room is 1 floor above the building entrance to the right. Balcony looks out over trees and then Martina beach club is a block in front of that. We liked the privacy of looking out over trees. I will say on Saturday, the beach club was playing very loud music until 6 am. You could hear it thumping all night, even with the fan on. It didn't ruin our trip and we would stay here again, just something to keep in mind. Every other night was quiet.

We had a fantastic stay at Gomez’s place! The apartment was spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive throughout our stay, which made everything easy and stress-free. We especially loved the tennis courts and the beautiful views — it truly felt like a vacation. There were fans throughout the space, and you could open the windows to let the lovely breeze in. The bed was super comfortable, and the location was ideal — close enough to walk to everything, but tucked away from the main drag so it was peaceful at night. The pool was empty most of the time so we practically had it to ourselves, and the security team was always around, friendly, and made the area feel very safe. Having a designated parking spot right out front was a huge plus, especially when we rented a car for day trips. Would absolutely stay here again!

I had a great stay, I travelled alone and was there for 6 days. The place is a bit of a walk to the beach and restaurants, so just make sure you’re up for that. The space itself was really clean & looked like the pictures. My only issue was that the shower had a really awkward placement next to the toilet, but that’s really my only complaint.

The condo is very nice and the location can't be beat. It is two blocks away from the beach and three blocks away from 5th avenue where all the restaurants, bars etc. are located. Also 15 min away from the Xcaret parks. The view from the pool on the rooftop is breathtaking. You'll enjoy hanging out on the rooftop. There's also a hot tub pool. The kitchen was very well stocked and it has a huge 80" TV in the living room. Very nice condo. I recommend you rent a car as the taxis gouge you in Playa del Carmen. A 10-15 min ride is $20 and 4 persons max.

Good position and nice view !

The apartment is small but very comfortable. Don Luis and his team were always attentive to what we occupied, even help with the bathroom is needed and immediately the maintenance man arrived. The best thing about the apartment is the location, super close to 5th Avenue, terminal ADO Turistica and Plaza Antigua. The photos you have posted of the terrace pool do not honor how beautiful the spectacular view and the divine and relaxing Jacuzzi are. Thank you very much Don Luis, we hope to return soon.

I loved it, the location was excellent

Loved this place! The instructions to get into the community were a little confusing but we were able to work it out okay. The community is beautiful and they have decorated the apartment gorgeously! My only complaint is that we didn’t stay longer and use all of the amenities! Thank you for a fabulous stay!

Excellent place to stay, the location is incredible, very close to the beach and 5th Avenue where you have access to different restaurants and shopping. Despite being close to 5th Avenue, the noise from the nightlife was never a problem, so I highly recommend it for a few days of relaxation. The only thing is that if you bring a car, the place does not guarantee a place to park and you have to park on the street, paying a parking meter at certain times.

Great place, extremely clean and beautiful furnished. Luis Fernando was very responsive and helpful. Left take out options and his mother I law was super sweet with us and took us to buy some stuff to a close buy convenience store. Overall we had a great stay. Definitely recommend and will keep in mind for future bookings

I really loved the residence, it's a very nice place, it looks just like the photos and it's a spectacular place if you're looking for privacy. At night it is usually noisy because of the location but that did not prevent our rest, Remmy was attentive at all times and I would definitely stay here again

Excellent place, everything is very nice, just like the photos. It's a quiet place if that's what you're looking for. We traveled as a family with children and a senior citizen, and the truth is that it was an extraordinary experience since everyone enjoyed the comfort and exclusivity of the facilities. The host was always very attentive to my questions before the reservation and during my stay. A highly recommended place.

Carlos is an excellent host. He was always attentive to what was offered to us. He also recommended transportation from the airport to the Airbnb and from the Airbnb to the airport, which was super safe and punctual. The Airbnb is a very nice clean place, a quiet and safe area, everything is very close, restaurants, 5th Avenue and the supermarket. We will definitely return to stay there

Host very responsive throughout and provided excellent directions. The location is the best in Playa with everything eg convenience store, pharmacy, cafe etc etc accessible within a 5 minute walk. Its also a short stroll to the beach. The unit was as described and it was hot and muggy this time of year but the a/c's worked very well. The unit was quiet despite some other reviews mentioning hearing the swimming pool mechanism from upstairs but we didnt notice that. The sound-proofing was good and the music from nearby clubs etc was also not an issue at night. The balcony was nice. The kitchen is not the most functional but we ate out and so it wasnt an issue. The roof and pools were nice and we spent some evenings there, it was never too busy, at least this time of the year. We had a car, and there is a garage in the building but parking is not the easiest because parking spaces were very teeny, so we suggest renting a smaller car if you intend to drive here. All in all terrific stay.

The place is very comfortable, it has too many amenities, it has a water heater and that was useful for my visit to Xcaret. The bed is very comfortable, if you want to go to the beach, it has an icebox, chairs and umbrellas, the pool was empty when I used it. Just ask how to identify your room, because there should usually be a guard at the entrance and he helps you find the place, but when I arrived there was no one, and since the rooms are not marked, a neighbor of the building helped me. The place has an elevator. Just to access the lobby you have to climb some steps. Consider this if you bring a lot of luggage. I was allowed to check in early, the place is well worth it, I recommend it.

I’ve been to the area before. Nice location with great restaurants. Has a beautiful infinity pool with a bar which is a nice plus. Not enough seating around the pool or umbrellas though. Close walk to the beach. Well equipped kitchen. No dishwasher which was surprising. Close to food store 7 min walk. Close to ferry to Cozumel and excursions. Would recommend and come again.

We had a great stay! The place was exactly as described — clean, well-kept, and super easy to navigate. It had everything we needed and felt like a really good deal for the area. The water in the fridge was a very nice welcome and much appreciated after traveling. The location was perfect and just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and all the action, but still felt peaceful and relaxing.
