Monthly Rentals in Piney River

This was a great cottage to stay in for a weekend getaway with my partner. The space was cozy and had everything we needed: comfy bed, large TV, full size fridge, and kitchen supplies. We wound up buying groceries at food lion (one block away) so we only ate out once during our whole stay. Kitchen utensils included pots and a pan, dishes, a cooking hot plate with space for 2 pans, a coffeemaker, and a toaster. There is no microwave. I brought my own electric hot water kettle to make tea. All in all this was a comfy, great stay, accessible (no stairs), and there is even a Tesla ev charger for anyone that needs it. Highly recommend for 1-2 people for a nice weekend away.

Nancy and her husband were the nicest and super helpful. The property was gorgeous, the amenities and furniture were super comfortable. The first night was spent telling stories around the fire and enjoying the beautiful stars. My wife and I are foodies and ordered local chicken, pork and beef from Nancy which we prepared for a lovely family dinner on our second night. Check in and check out could not have been any easier. Peaceful, beautiful property. House was comfortable and equipped, would definitely stay again.

Angela was very responsive and went above and beyond to assist us when we requested to extend our stay by a couple of days. The house was very cute, cozy, and clean. The country surroundings very peaceful. The next time we come back to VA we will definitely book with Angela.
