Monthly Rentals in Penpont

The place was absolutely stunning. Steve and Jane were super responsive hosts and there for us when we checked in and showed us through the house. The house itself was perfect for our group and the hot tub was an great additional bonus. The places itself is nestled away but we were given such detailed instructions it was super easy to find. It was a perfect place for a perfect weekend. Thanks again :)

We went for peace and views, and we got that and more, the home was clean and tidy with a great information pack and yes we would return in fact we didn`t want to leave, The bed was comfy and the shower was easy to use. This home is in the ideal aera to go exploring this part of Scotland with all you need in Thornhill which is only 10 minutes away.

Appletreewick Cottage is a delightful place to stay in and Lauren a very friendly and responsive host. As well as being very clean, light and well equipped, it was a treat to stay somewhere with lovely pottery and colour throughout the house and use of the patio. It was great to have countryside on our doorstep for local walking and cycling, as well as cafes, shops and the hotel restaurant in Thornhill, and to be able to park straight outside the house. We had a lot of rain, so visiting the galleries in Kircudbright was an added bonus. We hope to go back!

Lovely cottage, met our needs perfectly for a two night stay. Was nice to be able to have a peaceful walk along the river Nith almost from the doorstep and we particularly enjoyed the garden, what a lovely sunny spot.
