Dog Heaven!!! That was my first thought when we rolled into Joe’s place, and it turned out to be true. The area is surrounded by endless pines and the views are stunning. The cabin is cozy and clean, and the bed is very comfortable. Joe and Barbara are gracious and friendly hosts who will go out of their way to help you with food and location recommendations. We would visit again in a heartbeat.

Matt is an excellent host, and I'm very happy that I got to work with a local owner and not a large chain. You can tell it is his own and he takes pride... The kitchen actually is packed with things that are not listed, a keurig, spices, etc. The atmosphere is how he describes, quiet and serene... In the 4 days we were there I don't think we saw another person other than an occasional vehicle drive by on the road which is extremely far away from the house. In comparison we stayed at other airbnbs that describe themselves as secluded however they were right on major highways. This is as peaceful and relaxing as it can get. He also does not nickel and dime you with excessive fees, or ridiculous checkout policies. Very responsive and welcoming! The place is an absolute gem and well worth the tiny bit of distance to be away from the chaos when you are right next to the Grand Canyon. If you are reading this, just book it! Pictures do not do the place Justice!
