Monthly Rentals in Pahala

Cozy quiet Hawaiian style condo that’s far from the crowds in Kona and Hilo but close enough to Na alehu or Pahala if you want to drive in for a coffee or a meal. An easy half mile walk (or drive) to the beautiful black sands beach and just a 30 minute drive to volcano national park. If you want to get lost in the islands, but do it comfortably this is the spot! Perfect couples get away. Dana and Steve were wonderful hosts and loaded me up with plenty of ideas and tips to enjoy the stay

Very peaceful place to stay and quite close to Kilauea but near the coast too which was the perfect combination for us as we wanted to spend a the day exploring the volcano but also have the warmth of lower elevation and easily stroll to the ocean from our condo. Tom and Christen were very accessible by text and had great suggestions on sights to see and things to do.

Beautiful property in Naalehu. Pretty easy to find and there’s a sign that says “Park Here” on the lawn, which is very helpful. Fresh fruit upon our arrival. Paul was very responsive to all my messages. This is about a 20 min drive to the southern most point in the US and to the Green Sand beach hike. Farmers market every Wednesday in Naalehu is really neat. The space is as described and perfect for 2 people. I’ll definitely stay here again if I’m on this side of the island! There’s a washer and drier in the unit too, which is a bonus!

We stayed for four days in this nice, spacious, very clean house. We chose this location because of its proximity to Volcanoes National Park (25 miles) and the Black Sand beach where we swam (5 miles). The hosts were very friendly, proactive, and flexible. The beds were comfortable, everything worked well. You can hear roosters especially when the windows are open, but that is probably typical for all rural communities here. Otherwise, it’s a very tranquil place. We also appreciated that we could keep our car under a roof. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would come here again.
