Loved our stay! Very nice place.

Honestly the place was cute. Perfect for my daughter’s bridal party to get ready the day of her wedding. Only problem was I forgot change how many people would staying and we had some children, and I am an older woman that stayed as well with my daughter. I received a rather rude message from the host after no responses about missing items I need back today which is now Wednesday, we left Sunday, saying how horrible we left the place yes there were a few things we should have made sure were cleaned such a bath mat a 2 year old accidentally sat on with his poopy butt as mom was trying to change him, which we did put in the washer. He said we ruined bedding with “blood”, the maid of honor had her period like I said before these things happen. The other problem is there were no cleaning supplies, no extra linens for anything, no blankets besides what was on the bed, there were maybe 2 wash clothes total to clean anything so I don’t understand how he wanted it so clean.

It's always hard for me to find a place in the Okoboji area, so this was a nice find for us. Everything was clean, and the communication was clear and speedy. The sunroom area was my favorite part, with a nice view of the lake; my son and his buddy enjoyed fishing off the dock. The hosts provided plenty of towels. The bed was comfy, though the pullout sofa is more like a futon--ideal for one person or two smaller people. The stove is quite vintage, but it worked just fine, and we only needed to use it once. I was very happy with Sara's place and would gladly stay again!

Really nice Airbnb. Super comfy. Helpful hosts. If you have mobility issues, this is the easiest place to get around I’ve ever stayed. All around good place.
