Monthly Rentals in Old Town

My plans for my trip ended up canceled last minute but I was not complaining because I ended up just sitting outside all day on the water enjoying the beautiful scenery! The house was very nice and prepared with many recommendations for things to do and places to try food from which came in handy to help fill my free time

This is a special little place with many thoughtful touches from the owners. The king size bed is so soft and comfortable, with matching cozy robes that make you feel like you are in a 5 star hotel! The reclining couch is amazingingly comfortably too! All throughout there are just details and care. You can hear the river rushing by which is so soothing, and there is a nice little outdoor table to eat at it. It's a small space, perfect for a couple, but I was there with my son, who stayed on the sun porch and slept on the day bed and that worked great. The host was gracious to make sure I understood the kitchen was a kitchenette so it is really just functional for simple cooking (i.e. I could make bacon and eggs each morning on the little burners, and we also used the grill they provided. There is also an air fryer that can be used to bake etc) All in all I would definitely come back here - great location, well-kept lovely cottage, wonderful hosts.

Was a great little spot it looked just like the pictures and was comfortable and peaceful!

We have stayed at Emilia’s places several times and are always happy to do so. It is an awesome place to stay while visiting UMaine. The location can’t be beat. The kitchen is functional and well stocked. We always get supplies from their store and cook at home for some meals. It is clean, comfortable and great parking. You can walk to restaurants, bars, the library and the river. We will miss it now that our Black Bear has graduated.
