Cottage holiday rentals in Northwest Indiana

The cottage was beautiful, and though there was a little bit of miscommunication, Tim and Kate went above and beyond to come up with a solution for us! We would definitely consider staying again when it's warmer out!

Easy check-in and felt right at home. Jennifer was always responsive to messages. She also gave great suggestions for food etc. The house is located perfectly for walking to the beach, market, restaurants, coffee. It is also a great location for quick travels to New Buffalo, Three Oaks, Michigan City and more. We will visit again for sure!

We loved our stay! The cottage was so cute and very clean. It is in a residential area, but still feels very private. The neighborhood was quiet. The outside/backyard area is amazing. We could walk everywhere (restaurants, shops, beach, market, etc…). We did not get into our car once from when we parked it until we left. Nancy was so nice to work with. She called us on our way there to let us know the hot tub motor was not working. That was not a big deal us, but she was proactive in telling us and she had it fixed by the next day. We would 100% recommend staying here and might book it again ourselves.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and flexible, making everything so easy and welcoming from start to finish. This home holds a lot of sentimental value for our family — we spent many years vacationing in this area growing up — and it meant so much to be able to return to the area and create new memories in such a beautiful, well-kept space. We couldn’t be more grateful and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, meaningful getaway.

We had a great time staying at Amy's place! It is the perfect size for a couple. It feels very cozy and like you are actually staying at someone's home vs. the sterile Airbnbs that are owned by corporate entities these days. The property is as described. It is very private, yet close to everything! I would recommend staying here if you're in the area.

We had a quick two night stay while visiting the area. The house was as listed and we had a great time. We loved the hot tub and the indoor space. Comfortable seating in the living area while we waited out the rain. There is a train that travels close by but otherwise had a great stay!

Very peaceful to stay put here--bring what you need and stay in these beautiful surroundings among birds and gardens and an art-filled home. Or spend time on nearby beaches and trails, wander the nearby small-town shops and nice variety of restaurants and look forward to a hot tub soak and campfire. Donna's home is welcoming and inspiring!

The Place was clean and quiet. Beautiful trees surround the area. I am familiar with the New Buffalo and Union pier area. It was right in the middle of all the Restaurants. Sunroom was a great hang out. Yard was a large and private space to hang out and get a fire going. Of course, the koi fish was an extra bit of enjoyment, watching them. Would highly recommend this rental.

Wonderful home and location! Our family loved spending time here during our stay in new Buffalo. The yard was perfect for our dog. Colton and Abbey were terrific hosts.

Very cozy and cute place! I loved the short walk into town. It was the perfect place to spend the weekend. My family & fur-baby adored this place and I definitely plan to come back. I loved the backyard! It’s so big! It was fun to hang back there and exercise. I have so many good things to say.

We really enjoyed our stay at John’s place. House was super clean and comfortable. Loved the outside porch set up as well as ability to dine outside in bark yard. We always enjoy this area as the hiking for our dog is amazing.

Another fantastic stay at this place! And they upgraded the mattresses so we had such a comfortable sleep both nights! This is the best airbnb in new Buffalo! We love it!!!

What a beautiful location! Loved all the trees, beautiful yard to play games, super big fire pit, deck and grill was spotless! The inside was nice and spacious for the size. Great kitchen and bathrooms. The basement was large! We had an incredible time. Would come back for a longer vacation!

Review..... Host Annette was very accommodating and fast response. The home is a very quaint cottage with every amenity we needed. There are many water toys (peddle boat, kayak, paddle board) and life jackets. My grandchildren enjoyed fishing and swimming. But, the best part is the amazing view. Even saw a deer in the lake! The house and area were so beautiful. If you’re looking for a cute, rustic, small-town vibe, this is the place. We had so much fun. Rebekah and Drew are nice people! Truly enjoyed our stay!

Great spot on the corner of a lovely subdivision! Wonderful get away while also plenty close to the downtown LaFayette area.

Sun-filled is right! Peaceful and nestled but a mere few minutes to the lake and all the lovely parts of New Buffalo and Union Pier. Try the Black Currant Bakehouse nearby! Ken was incredibly responsive and made staying here very pleasant.

We had a beautiful stay! The porch is peaceful and has stunning views of the lake! Amy’s house is conveniently located close to Albion town square, Chain O’lakes state park, and Gene Stratton-Potters historic home.

Third stay in two weeks. Everything about the cottage and grounds is perfect and I am already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay. The house was well stocked and clean, and the beds were comfortable. The lot is very large with plenty of space for yard games and activities. Would 100% look for availability here, if we were staying in the area in the future.

One of the best rental ever! Everything exceeded expectations. They thought of everything a vacationing couple could need. Upon arrival they were tremendously help as we learned how to use the app for entering & leaving. It was also much larger than it looked from the outside. We enjoyed the newly remodeled bathroom and the cozy screened in outdoor area. Overall a very lovely place to stay. We plan to go back soon.
