Holiday rentals with breakfast in Northwest Indiana

This was our second stay in Christy’s home, and it continued to exceed expectations. The house is clean, well equipped and in a great location. Purdue campus is walkable or just a short drive from the house. The house and yard offer a nice, quiet place to relax. The screened-in porch is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee. The kitchen has been updated and is well equipped. The breakfast foods provided by our host are a great touch and much appreciated. We had a fantastic visit to Purdue for our son’s graduation!

It was exactly what we expected. Nice relaxing getaway in this beautiful lake house with a great game room. Jenni was always available for us if we needed her. Can't wait till next time.

Cute little lake house! My friend unfortunately stepped on a piece of glass in the garage and cut her foot; but fortunately the place came stocked with a first aid kit, peroxide, and literally anything else we could've needed over the trip. Firewood and kindling was stocked too!

Sarah’s place was very clean and extremely well equipped in every aspect, kitchen, bathroom supplies, outdoor etc. So many amenities, we felt like we were still home . The basement was such a great addition for kids and adults to play ping pong, air hockey, arts and crafts. Kids can spend hours down there. Backyard is fenced and although it backs to I-196, we were not bothered. I cannot imagine how beautiful it is once the trees are green. If you have kids and want to get away from the city with minimal planning of all the things to bring, this is the place. There is a beach nearby, 3 min drive, cannot wait to come back during summer months. Sarah, thank you for your gracious hospitality.

We've rented this house a few times for our work trips and it has always been a great experience.

Michele provides everything you need and more including breakfast items and COOKIES baked locally. We had to leave early due to allergies and although she didn't need to, she refunded partial payment. She lets you check in early even though check in isn't until 3. Location couldn't be better. Thanks, I will be back again!!

Kate's place is exactly as described and shown in the pictures. Six of us (three adults, three teenagers) spent five days here playing games and hanging out -- and we still never made it to all of the amenities this home offers. (This would be a FANTASTIC location for a football weekend!) We appreciated the secure, fenced, well-maintained lawn for our dog; we felt comfortable letting her out on her own. It was great to have multiple TVs, full bathrooms, and a nice laundry room. We had plenty of room to spread out. The decor is really thoughtful, and, if you're here for Notre Dame, you will LOVE the attention to detail and the memorabilia! It's a great location -- safe, walkable, and peaceful. The home was spotlessly clean. Finally, Kate was very responsive and went out of her way to supply eight new folding chairs and a long table to accommodate our gaming needs. She is a great host, and clearly puts great care into this home and her guests' needs.

We had a wonderful stay at Jay's place. He met us in person to check in and personally showed us through the house and made us feel so welcome. The house was very homey and had everything we needed. It's also in a great location in a very walkable neighborhood close to the Frank Lloyd Wright Studio. Oh, and morning coffee on the sun porch was delightful. Thanks for a great stay, Jay.

Niki's place is located close to multiple bus and CTA lines which made exploring Chicago so easy. The bed was great - lovely sheets, great mattress and pillows were awesome. You don't always get that! Niki and her husband, Sean were so helpful and communicative. Being able to stay at their place really helped make our celebration weekend easy and fun.

Staying at Jenny's place was fantastic! She was always responsive and helpful. The apartment itself was cozy and pretty quiet, especially for a Chicago unit. I hope to stay there again in the future!

Location is in a great place! Home was super clean as well with a comfy bed! Only downfall is the 4 sets of stairs to make it up to the 3rd floor with our suitcases. Other than that absolutely loved! Thanks again!

The apartment was spotlessly clean and exactly as described. My daughter and I were in town for a softball tournament and games ended earlier than expected so we asked for an early check in. Jayne was super responsive and flexible. We got in several hours early. It was comfortable and cosy. It had everything we needed for our stay. She was so sweet to leave chocolate milk and muffins for us which my daughter loved and helped me out since we had to leave super early the next morning. We would stay here again when in the area. It was a lovely place. Thank you for letting us be your guests Jayne!

Teresa is one of the best hosts I came across after staying in many previous Airbnb's. She was very sweet and helpful. Upon our arrival, she prepared amazing welcome snacks and beverages, gave us a tour of the house, which was spectacular and made sure we have everything we need. In the morning, we were greeted by amazing breakfast. I strongly recommend to everyone and will definitely come back if I'm in town next time.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Christiane's & Patrick’s beautiful home, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at home. The space is impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Both were outstanding host—responsive, friendly, and full of great local recommendations. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect, checking in to make sure I had everything I needed.

Pam and Kevin were awesome hosts. They made us feel very welcome as we were coming and going quite often. Breakfast was outstanding!!

Mary's place was a great location for our short trip to Chicago! It was a short Uber drive from the airport, and a short drive to the All-State Arena. We did arrive late at night due to flight delays and opted for an Uber versus the train. I am glad we did cause it seems like the train station is under construction for the side we needed and would have been a bit more of a walk departing from the other side, but definitely not a dealbreaker or anything. The house is a short walk from this breakfast place that we actually went to twice during our short stay, with other options nearby. Overall, the house felt cozy and clean, but we did struggle with getting in the bathroom first thing in the morning with the other guests in the house during our stay. Mary was very responsive and a great host to us during our stay. The bed was comfortable as well and the room had amble space for a large suitcase, a carry-on, and two large bags with space to spare for two people.

I always enjoy stays at the Hamlin House and this was no exception! The Blue Room is lovely, - spacious with gorgeous windows and a spa-like bathroom. Wish I could have stayed longer!
