Jackie was a great host, the accommodation was lovely, clean and fresh, everywhere was clean and perfect liked being home from home, felt safe and has all you need. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings, shops not too far away that served great produce, great if you like walking and roads are great to surrounding areas.

Ray’s lovely cottage lived up to expectations and beyond. There was ample room both inside and out. The furnishings and fittings were of a high standard and supplies of fresh , clean towels and lots of hot water was a bonus. Also the little extras to make you feel at home, tea , coffee , milk and a tea cake. I especially liked the private garden area and the lovely Summer house which was perfect for relaxing in after a days walking. Parking on site is also a big plus. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

The perfect place to stay for a peaceful tranquil break away. An absolute amazing place in the most perfect location.. This place is a real gem and Katy has made this such a fabulous place to stay and relax in. A selection of goodies for us on our arrival was perfect!.. We will definitely be back soon.

What a lovely place to stay. Just had four nights at Keepers Cottage and it was perfect. The accommodation comprises of a lounge/dining room, small kitchen and outside seating area. Upstairs there is a spacious bedroom with double bed and a bathroom with shower. There is also a little room off the bathroom which houses a washing machine and tumble dryer. The property was beautifully clean, fresh towels and bedding were provided. It felt comfortable and cosy, just perfect for two. There is a space at the rear of the property to park your car. Nestled in the heart of the countryside, it is about five minutes walk to the Post Gate Inn, which does excellent food. There is also the Horseshoe Hotel, within easy walking distance along the road, or over the stepping stones. The Witching Post and Wheatsheaf are about five minutes drive away up a very steep hill. It’s a handy place to visit nearby attractions like Goathland, Grosmont, Scarborough, Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay.
