Holiday rentals with beach access in New York

The place was clean and a good location with walking distance to many restaurants and grocery store.

A wonderful beach respite! Lovely area, great restaurants, wonderful welcoming hosts—felt like home! Nearby Sandy Hook beach / reserve is gorgeous. Lorine and Lizette are truly super hosts. They have thought of everything! The house is well equipped, comfortable and has everything you will need. We loved the porch, the view — and you can see the sunrise. We had delicious meals at nearby restaurants. We slept like babies. We visited historic lighthouses. Highly recommend!

Great stay had everything we needed for our stay .One the best I have stayed in . Not far from highway and stores .Saidy is very friendly and respond to our inquiries right away .would definitely recommend.will be back.

The place was accurate and as described. Very cozy and clean and spotless, plenty of candy and snacks were left for us which I found very sweet. Latanya was also very responsive and accommodating to our requests. We loved our stay and would highly recommend Latanya as a host and the place if you ever need a place around the city for a stay!!

🙌Everything is great, a small but cozy place that meets all expectations. It's very clean and has a pleasant atmosphere. It has two nice bedrooms, a very comfortable living room, a kitchen with a stove, a dining area for four, and a full bathroom. It's ideal for a stay; for a small family, I recommend it. I would rent it again. The only thing it doesn't offer is parking; I wish they would include it. But thank you very much for everything.🙌 god bless you!!!🙌

Stayed here multiple times for work purposes. It was convenient to white plains. Provided a comfortable, quiet home-like space to work. Owners were friendly and responsive.

Very hospitable hosts. We were able to get our rest when needed and our children were able to comfortably play without being too restricted. Overall, a pleasant experience.

We loved our stay at Anthony's place in Long Beach. The house had everything we needed: comfy bed, clean sheets, smart tvs, wifi, stocked kitchen, plus a really cool vibe. It's so close to restaurants and the boardwalk, and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. Anthony was also very friendly, provided plenty of recommendations for things to do nearby, and communication with him was easy overall. We wish we could've stayed longer, and highly recommend Anthony's place.

The home was dated, but definitely worth the price. Convenient to shopping (Trader Joe's), access to I95, and just a short drive to downtown Darien. The amenities are also dated, i.e., not a walk-in shower but a jacuzzi type tub. Rory's restaurant was next door, which had very good food and reasonably priced. The host needs to add hand towels for the bathroom, and tea towels for the kitchen. The host was very responsive to text messages. Overall, we very much enjoyed the house.

Nicole is a phenomenal host and was so easy to chat with! We had a wonderful time and we would 100% book again in the future. She’s a dedicated host and we had a very flexible check in & check out. Nicole was readily available to answer any questions we had. The view is lovely and we adored the decor and layout of her Airbnb! What stood out the most to me is her binder that includes all you need to know about the area, food / date recommendations, schedules, etc. I thought that was very helpful and endearing. She goes above and beyond, you can tell she is passionate about her guests having a great time. Thank you for everything Nicole, we are very grateful for your attention to detail for your guests and genuine hospitality!!

The Captain’s Cottage was beautiful and exactly like the pictures. We walked (with umbrellas) to the quaint shops and restaurants and along the harbor. It was a perfect location to breathe some sea air, and just a short drive to the Long Island Railroad for time in the city. We just had the best time and Kim was a wonderful and accessible host!

Staying at Bruce's was very cozy. we had all that we needed for the 1.5 nights we were there. Bruce was very responsive and helpful to all of our requests and needs. would love to come back sometime.

Carmen’s place was great, very spacious, neat & clean and nicely decorated. Bathrooms were also all done up real nice. It was perfect for 4 families and the basement was perfect for the kids. The house was pretty close to everything and the street we were on was very quiet. Carmen and Louis were both very responsive to our needs and easy to work with. I would definitely stay there again. I didn’t expect much from this apartment, but I was pleasantly surprised. I was healing from an injury, and the quiet setting was just what I needed. The little red room was charming, the bathroom very clean, and the location—on a tranquil block just steps from the beach—was relaxing and convenient. The other guests were warm and accommodating, and the kindness of the locals truly melted my heart! I had a lovely stay and was very productive.

Perfect location for a quick get away and so thrilled we could bring our furry loved ones. Eoin was kind and prompt with communication. The location is walking distance to all you could need. It was a quiet and peaceful few days.

Nick’s place is the jackpot! My stay was comfortable and peaceful - two of my most important requirements in an airbnb. I had everything I needed, and Nick checked in to make sure my stay was going smoothly. He was also readily available for any questions I had. I loved the ease of attending my workshop at Pioneer Works. While my colleagues were taking Ubers in from other parts of Brooklyn and Manhattan, I had a mere 4 block walk. And the Red Hook neighborhood is a slice of life. I had everything I needed within a few blocks - restaurants, bars,bodegas and a few nice shops. This was an absolutely delightful place to stay, and I look forward to coming back and hopefully staying longer next time.

We had a wonderful stay! Our unit was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. Sherri was super accommodating of our family and very responsive.

If you are looking to explore New York for a few days or longer then Jay's place is great. Just a few minutes from the Long Beach station, Penn or Grand Central are about an hour away on a direct LIRR train. You will save $$$ by staying here compared with Manhattan. Long Beach is a safe, full of interesting shops. The 10km boardwalk is just a few minutes away. The apartment of character in a listed building full of charm. Loved the well stocked kitchen and would not hesitate to come back again.
