Lovely flat in a wonderfully peaceful location. Stefania was a great host and even popped some milk to us as we hadn't thought to bring any. Be sure to have an eye mask with you as some windows don't have curtains or blinds and so it gets light very early!

Our family of 5 plus a baby had a wonderful time ! The beach access , large house with room for everyone to have space - the large kitchen and patio area - we enjoyed being together watching amazing sunsets and playing games. Tom and Patricia were so helpful and friendly. Wonderful stay !

The Core Lodge was simply wonderful, and Tara was simply lovely. The physical location can’t be beat, alongside pasture land and within view of the sea on the outskirts of Ballyvaughan. (Monk’s on the pier was a standout restaurant, a “top 5” all-time meal for us.) The lodge itself was perfectly appointed — the upstairs movie room was a hit with the kiddos, and the view from the peaceful kitchen window seat/nook was worth the cost alone. Tara herself was a joy to work with, and a great help to us as we weren’t familiar with the area, even recommending nearby Gaelic football and hurling matches that our son was interested in. We loved our stay and would love to come back again.

Booked on a recommendation from a friend and boy did it meet our expectations. Looking for a place that gave us a different view of Ireland, a rural setting but still very close to activities we wanted. The house was clean, well-appointed and private (despite owners living upstairs - didn't hear or see them until we checked out). The calming setting was just what we needed after a family wedding and bouncing from hotels and city Airbnbs. Sitting in the spacious, light-filled living room watching cows and two calves frolicking mere feet from us, was so refreshing. The panoramic view was awesome. Exploring the nearby Burrens was amazing. A nice restaurant just down the road was a plus. Wish we had booked longer but as first time visitors to Ireland we had so many other places to see. Next time we will stay longer!
