Our stay in Mariastein was truly special. From the moment we arrived, Thomas made us feel welcome and well cared for; he’s one of those rare hosts who combines genuine hospitality with quiet professionalism. He was always available when needed, offering helpful tips and local insights that made a real difference in how we experienced the area. The house itself is in a peaceful and scenic location, perfectly placed for hiking and exploring the Tyrolean countryside. It felt like a true retreat, yet still close enough to everything we needed. We stayed here for around 2 months over the winter season, using the apartment as a base to travel around Austria. The apartment is perfect for a couple, with plenty of space for 2 and a well finished kitchen. The apartment is also bigger than it looks in the photos, which is an added bonus. The apartment has a beautiful view over the valley, and is close to a bus stop which can take you all the way down the valley from Hopfgarten to Kitzbühel, or back to Wörgl station, which is very well connected, letting you travel throughout the Tirol region easily. Birgit was very friendly and helpful, always willing to be flexible with us, and made us feel right at home! She helped us sort out any issues we had and helped us to settle in the local area. We would definitely come back!

Very nice welcome by the hostess, very nice and clean apartment, super quiet location ideal for relaxing. Good starting point to explore Kufstein and the area around the Wilder Kaiser. We liked it very much at Silvia's, highly recommended.
