Family-friendly holiday rentals in Manitou Springs

The location is spot on with beautiful views of the mountains, within easy driving distance of many attractions and beautiful drives. The cabin is cozy but spacious with good amenities. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, and deck.

Our stay was relaxing and the cabin/views are absolutely beautiful!! The kitchen was fully stocked making it easy to stay in for a meal if you decide to. We would love to come back some day!

Had a great time at the cabin. If you want a peaceful place to relax then look no further. Great “Cabin in the mountains” vibe. Wayne was super helpful with anything that came up. Great host and a great place to stay! Had all the amenities that make it modern but the feel of really being out there which was what we wanted.

I enjoyed staying at The Cottage. It was quaint and had everything you would need for a stay. The beds and furniture were comfortable, and WiFi was reliable (I was with someone who had to be online everyday). We didn't use the hot tub or grill, but they looked nice. The remote location was a surprise given that it's a 5 minute drive from Manitou. There were other guests in the main cabin but they were friendly when we saw them out walking. We did see a bear trying to get into the dumpster but he was just looking for a snack and didn't pay us any attention. I will recommend this spot to others and would stay again. My only wish for The Cottage was a small fenced in area for the dog on a portion of the patio. Would have been nice for her to enjoy some of that fresh mountain air without having to be on leash the whole time.

The place was a given, met expectations, easy to find, beautiful surroundings. We had an amazing time. The kids had s'more , and even got to enjoy the hot tub. Highly recommended

What a hidden gem!! The place was beautifully landscaped and welcoming. Off-street parking was nice as well. The place was very clean and had everything we could possibly need inside. It was located in a safe and quiet neighborhood, but within minutes of a grocery store. Also within 15-20 minutes of Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds, and other attractions. Would highly recommend and we are hoping to stay here again the next time we visit Colorado Springs! Deane was a great host and very pleasant to visit with. Thanks!!

The remote check-in/out was very easy and I found it as a plus. The house was as pictured and described. Everything that you may need has been thought of and provided. The furnishings were plentiful and comfortable. The backyard is set up nicely. We had some windy and rainy conditions for our stay. This limited our outdoor time, but we were able to enjoy the fire pit and dining table. The basement game room was very nice was a great addition considering the weather. Multiple games of Ping-Pong were played as well as on the arcade machine. We would stay here again if available during future visits to the area.

We greatly enjoyed our stay in this charming historic home. Convenient to downtown Colorado Springs and located along a pleasant walking trail, the neighborhood is a quiet retreat. Jacquie has thoughtfully equipped the home with everything a guest could want, and it's nice to enjoy the birdsong on the front porch or back patio after a long soak in the clawfoot bathtub. We will happily book here again in the future. As a host, Jacquie was friendly and responsive. Thank you for a delightful stay!

We had a great time. We travel to Colorado to see our son and often it is running to planned outings. We relaxed for two days o enjoy the outdoors and one another. Best visit yet!

We stayed at the purple cottage for a girls' weekend and our favorite parts were the outdoor space, which featured many places to relax and enjoy the view, and the location, which just seemed to be ten minutes or less from everywhere we wanted to visit. The cottage had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It was clean, spacious and very quiet. We enjoyed our stay and Rachel was a friendly, responsive host.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in Rebecca's cabin for our 8th wedding anniversary. We stayed from last week of May through end of first week of June. The cabin is exactly how it was described. I had read comments about the train being close to the cabin, however, even being light sleepers, the train did not bother us at all. The weather was not entirely cooperative on our trip but we were still visited by a few deer on the property. The bed was extremely comfortable and, due to the weather, we were able to take advantage of the wood burning stove. I loved that this was an option. I do recommend bringing a larger mirror as stated in previous reviews for makeup and getting ready. I had came prepared so this was not an issue for us. The town of Palmer Lake has several options for meals and shopping. It is such a charming town. We will most definitely be back! Thank you Rebecca for sharing your cabin with us!

Our stay at the cottage was a peaceful as you can get. Close to restaurants, and the open space behind the cottage is great for hiking. Lots of memories will remain with us for a long time.

Beth‘s house is spotlessly clean and she was very quick to respond to any questions. The house is very spacious and was very comfortable. The beds and bedding are very comfortable. The neighborhood is in old Colorado city and walkable to the main shopping and restaurant area. We felt very safe in the area and it’s a friendly neighborhood. The off street parking was great. We loved sitting on the porch when we weren’t out and about or the patio, which is also very nice. It was without a doubt one of the best Airbnb‘s I have stayed at and would definitely stay again when visiting my daughter in Colorado Springs.

We had a wonderful stay in Colorado Springs. The home had incredible views and was conveniently located near world class hiking and great restaurants. The home is very private and has many spaces to relax—we loved the patio and rooftop deck. The home was perfectly clean and was well-stocked. This is a great place for a large or small group and we loved our stay.

This was a great home. The beds are super comfy and the living space was great to hang out in. The location was very easy to get in and out of. The photos show exactly what it looks like. Brandon was very responsive and this was a 5 star stay for sure.

Cool place, great if you have kids as they get the two beds upstairs. Not a ton of privacy within the place, but if everyone respects boundaries, it's fine. The driveway was very tight if you have a full size truck. Very well stocked inside, even had spices and oils to cook with. Full kitchen and dishwasher. Bathrooms were very nice. Wifi/tv had a lot of streaming options also, with logins present which was great. There were some ants/spiders that made their way in, but the hosts had already taken proactive measures. It was raining, so they were looking for a place to hide. Other than that everything was great.

Vintage house was perfect for our stay. The home was stocked with everything we could possibly need. Jessica’s notes throughout the house were helpful and amusing. Guest slippers were a nice touch. Location was great. Quiet neighborhood with easy access to town and highways. Welcome book was comprehensive. Jessica was responsive and friendly. This was the best home away from home we’ve stayed in!

Wendy and John were both very nice and accommodating. I saw in the listing that they leave snacks so I had contacted them to let them know my son has Celiac disease and he can’t have anything with Gluten. They went above and beyond to leave multiple Gluten Free snacks for my son so he didn’t feel left out. This is our first time traveling since diagnosis and it was rough as far as finding food choices so this made him feel special. They answered any question I had super quick and even brought us up some ice when the ice maker didn’t make any. Hands down the best Airbnb experience we’ve had so far and would not hesitate to book again if we are in the Colorado.

The apartment is pretty spacious and sofas are comfy. Peggy and Mark have plenty of signs and notes around the place to keep things clear and tidy. Felt very welcome and comfortable there, would definitely stay again.
