Please read check-in instructions—parking, key access & arrival tips are included for a smooth arrival. We suggest researching the area ahead to know what’s nearby and come prepared, as we aren’t always instantly available to reply. Direct ATV/snowmobile trail access with trailer parking. On-site Pub Lounge: Thurs 4–8, Fri 4–10, Sat 12–10 with food, drinks & events. Some sound may carry—no complaints so far, but please don’t book if that may be an issue. Ask about private 1920s theater time! 🎬

Leave your car safely tucked away in our private parking space while you explore town, or take a quick stroll across the street to catch the Island Explorer into Acadia National Park.

Go Boutique on a Budget! The Black Elephant Hostel is a very vibrant and comfortable space with unique décor. We pride ourselves on being super clean, affordable and friendly. Our LOCATION CANNOT BE BEAT! We are one block outside of Old Port and nestled among some of the finest eateries, shopping, and entertainment in Portland. This is a Mixed Sex dorm and consists of 4 twin bunk beds and sleeps up to 8. This room has access to 3 private-style hall baths.

Harbor Crest King Room (Dog Friendly)

The Harbor Crest Inn, located one half mile from our Main Inn, features luxury guest rooms that have been revitalized. This listing is for a 1st floor guestroom with wide doorways and a standard tub/shower in the bathroom. Guests of Harbor Crest can enjoy the many indoor and outdoor common areas. The 1730 Harbor Crest Inn is our only Inn that is dog friendly. Please note we do not offer elevators in any of our buildings.
