Yurt holiday rentals in Maine

We were exhausted but finally got to the yurt & it was incredible. Felt like 100 acres all to ourselves / our dog! We slept most of the time but the little exploring we did / our dog was just beautiful, quiet, relaxing!

What a beautiful setting this family has created! The yurts were exactly what we wanted and Page and Bob were enjoyable, kind, interesting hosts. We'll definitely return!

The Yurt we stayed in was absolutely incredible! It had such a cozy vibe to it and enhanced the feel of the nature surrounding it. The grounds that the Yurt is in was also gorgeous and filled with many activities and things to see. Another note is how committed everyone involved with the grounds is to keeping it extremely environmentally friendly. The whole experience was definitely worth it and better than imagined!

I had a wonderful stay at the Sunset Yurt. Beautiful forest and mountain brook. Awesome swimming holes along the way. The hiking trails were great too. The yurt was clean and comfortable, wood stove worked great on a rainy day. It is quite a hike up from the parking lot so be mindful about what you bring. I would absolutely stay here again!

Great place to stay when checking out Acadia!

If you enjoy hiking and comfortably rustic accommodations you will absolutely love the Flying Moose Mountain Yurt. The hosts (LB, Kristina and the girl/pups) were very patient with our delayed arrival time and kindly walked us through all the eccentricities of the yurt stay. The girls provided the most secure of escort up the mountain and it warmed my heart to see our dog Piggy playing with them as part of the pack. The yurt had everything we needed, and the wood stove was perfect for keeping out the chill on a rainy weekend. The futons were comfortable and the kitchen had all the necessities (including some surprisingly delicious instant coffee) and the lighting system, solar chargers and other details were simple, but provided exactly what we needed for a nice disconnect. I relished the opportunity to earn the right to clean water and warmth by splitting my own wood and schlepping our water up the trail. We loved our stay and highly recommend it to all adventurous souls.

The yurt was great. Roomy, clean, and toasty warm on cold fall nights. Although we never met, Ellen was readily available to answer any questions. She even unlocked the schedule so we could stay another day. There were beautiful sunrises over the pond and a campfire at night. Thanks to Ellen and her family for allowing us to make our own beautiful memories at your home.

Yurtvana was such a treat, super well done space, super cozy inside and her backyard is beautiful, and the hot tub was nice (be aware it is not private, but that didn't bother us at all). It was a little chilly inside the yurt despite the heater but it was chilly rainy night outside, so just make sure you bring cozy clothes in case it gets cool

Jim & Kim were great hosts. The yurts are so cute and comfy! Great location and great trails nearby. Had a blast!

This yurt was magical. Lots of space inside with a really high ceiling and nice string lighting. Bed was very comfy. Nice to have an incinerating toilet inside (a rarity in a yurt). There’s a grill outside which worked well, but no stovetop burner, so bring your own if you want to cook in a pan. Showering outside, under the stars is a cool and unique experience. The yurt is not insulated and it doesn’t retain heat very well, so you’ll probably have to move the space heater to wherever you’re sitting. Heated blankets for the bed were very nice. We spent a lot of time just looking up towards the ceiling at the beautiful rooflines and the cozy lighting. There are also electric/Tesla chargers less than 5 min away the 95 Kennebunk rest stop.

Incredible Yurt Stay! This yurt was the perfect escape—cozy, spotless, and surrounded by nature. The attention to detail and thoughtful amenities made it feel both luxurious and homey. The hosts were amazing—warm, welcoming, and super helpful. Truly a unique and unforgettable stay. Highly recommend!

Stayed here for 4 days with my fiance, 3 year old, mother in law/father in law and pups and it was a 10 out of 10! only issue was there was a GIANT spider in the dome but once we got it everything else was smooth sailing lol. He gave clear directions and everything was exactly how we imagined it. Perfect for escaping reality and would definitely do it again!

Gregory and Sara’s place is comfortable, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Set back from the road and surrounded by trees, the round house is perfectly located and from the inside, enjoys views of trees and birds out of huge windows. We felt very welcome and enjoyed the wine, delicious coffee and popcorn that awaited us! If you are looking for a secluded place in nature and a short drive to picturesque mid-coast harbors, this is the place for you.

What a great way to 'rough it,' along the Maine coast. The setting, paths, and yurt were all wonderful. Will certainly look to book again next time we are in the area.

This place was beyond perfect. The wood stove was sooo nice and the little outdoor area was great. Bathrooms at the campground were pretty good too! Highly recommend staying in the yurt, it also came with a bunch of cooking stuff and plates and a little mini fridge. Definitely will be coming back!

Kate, the host, provided exceptional service, and was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout our stay. If you're looking to experience glamping at its best, this is the perfect place. It’s where the charm of the outdoors meets the comfort of luxury—imagine enjoying a hot shower in a beautifully furnished tent! During the booking process, we mentioned that we were celebrating our honeymoon, and the host went above and beyond by hanging a thoughtful “Just Married” sign above our bed. It was such a kind gesture and really set the tone for a memorable weekend exploring in Acadia. Highly recommend!

My wife and I loved our stay in the yurts! The yurts were very clean and the host were incredibly accommodating. We also really enjoyed the fire pit, the views and the kayaks. Overall a fantastic airbnb and we would highly recommend!

Our daughter chose to come here to celebrate her 7th birthday! And we are all so glad she did! Location was great! Our dogs loved walking the woods. We all can agree this was our best trip yet and look forward to booking our next stay here!

Stayed overnight for a 2-day trip to Sunday River. Very close to the resort, and near town of Bethel for re-supply runs. This particular yurt is especially convenient for its proximity to the bathhouse, which is very clean and well maintained. The heater worked well throughout the night, and the outdoor string lights basically negates the need for flashlight or head lamps. Wish we had more time to make use of the outdoor fire pit. Would definitely stay again for another similar trip to near by skiing.

It was our friend group’s second time staying at the yurts and we had a wonderful weekend of snowshoeing, cozy game nights, and cooking together. We were close to the bathhouse and the trails. We brought our dog and he had a blast. Loved the Sunday morning coffee at the gallery, too.

Always a nice place to relax. As clean as you’d imagine a dog friendly off grid yurt in the woods to be. Heidi is very responsive and friendly. Would like to stay at Rufus yurt next.

The yurt was perfect for our weekend stay while we were at a race in Turner! Christopher was very helpful and responsive. The bed was comfortable and everything was as described. Our dog loved it too! Will be back again
