Beach apartment holiday rentals in Maine

Me and my friends had a wonderful vacation in Wells! The condo was even closer to the beach than listed online (it took us about one minute to walk to the shore from there), and there were lots of lovely restaurants nearby as well. The home was clean and comfortable, and our hosts were responsive and welcoming. We appreciate them opening their home to us and would recommend this place to future travelers :)

We loved our stay! CONVENIENT!! Perfect for a small family or couple. Right across the street from the beach. Two lovely restaurants right next door, the general store for quick snacks. Walk to the town, park, arcade. The beach was lovely and the tide never came in too close! The rental was very clean, had everything you would need. View and sunrise were amazing. Allee was very responsive! Would definitely come back with my family!

Such a lovely stay! The view of the beach was absolutely beautiful, and the location was perfect—just a short walk to local stores and great restaurants. The space was very clean, cozy, and ideal for a mix of relaxing and fun weekend getaway. Highly recommend!

The place was very easy to find, great location. Walking distance along the beach and sidewalk to attractions, great access to the beach. Very clean and well maintained place. The hosts are very responsive and polite with good recommendations of places to eat and things to do. Would definitely stay again!

We rented both the Toddy House and Rocky House for a week for our family of 12. The houses were as described and in pristine condition. We loved the fact that they were close together, so the late night group could stay up socializing, while the children could be put to bed without distraction. The Toddy House had a pool table which provided lots of late night entertainment. It also had a large open common area to accommodate our group, and we spent a lot of time on the screened porches. We really liked the access to the water with the dock, the canoes and kayaks, and the super cool fire ring. We are the type of family that asks a lot of questions, and Mark was quick to answer and take care of any questions or issues we had. We spent a great deal of time at Acadia, and while the drive was about 45 minutes to get there, it was not a problem at all. We would definitely return to 3Havens if we decided to take another vacation in this area. Mark and Laurie were excellent hosts.

Julie’s place was very nice and very clean. The location was great, right across the street from the ocean. The kitchen was well-equipped and there was even a small basket of treats. Julie responded very quickly to any messages we sent. We would highly recommend this place.

I went with a couple of friends for a relaxing weekend in the fall. It was lovely to have the beach so close by! We took a short day trip to Ogunquit where there was quite a bit of activity; lots of shops and restaurants to check out. Coming back to Melissa's place was cozy and relaxing. Since this was off-season, it is pretty quiet in the area. I felt more comfortable taking a stroll to the beach in the evening with a friend but would be hesitant to go alone. Despite that, we got the weekend we wanted: peace, relaxation, the ocean, things to do nearby, and a place to stay that was quiet, cozy, and clean. Thank you Melissa!

My stay here was wonderful! The perfect homebase for our trip. Everything was exactly as described and then some. A great sea breeze and a cozy space to rest and relax before hitting the beach or walking into town. I felt right at home. I can't wait to go back again! 💜

What a great little apartment! We stayed for three nights including Christmas and were delighted to find that the place had been decorated for the holiday. The bed is extremely comfortable, the shower has good water pressure. The location is perfect: a quiet street that is 10 - 15 minutes’ walk from the old port area and countless wonderful restaurants and shops. We loved that we could bring our dog and he also gave the place two paws up. We would certainly stay here again when visiting Portland.

We were very happy start to finish. The location was just so unique and incredible. Right on a working marina, but very quiet. Plenty to see and do nearby. Walk across the pier and buy live lobsters. Christie was extremely helpful and quick to respond when asked. Condo was very well done with plenty of touches to make it homey. A good value! If we come back to Maine, we’ll call her first.

Great location, near the pier, beach and restaurants. The rental is a good deal for the location . There are no frills but if you want a clean quiet place for a couple people this is a good choice . It’s walkable to everything ! Alex is very responsive to any questions you might have .

My family and I were very excited about visiting Acadia National Park. This location is close to the park (about 10-15 min driving). We stay in the large room for six people. The place is good for a group who can sleep closely (our kids slept next to each other in the two beds and the couch), also keep in mind there is only one restroom. Having a kitchen to cook our meals is always a plus. The common areas are very good. We used the hot tub, the fireplace and the grill. Everything was great! Arthur is an excellent remote host, quickly answering all our questions. I recommend this place for families willing to visit Acadia.

This Airbnb was perfect. It’s right in the city of Portland with plenty of places to go. Everything was clean and prepared for us. Well worth the price.

This is a really beautiful apartment in a wonderful, dog friendly, walkable neighborhood. We loved the park at the Promenade which was busy, fun and bustling all times of day. There’s a small beach in walking distance as well as a food truck section of the park and kayak tours / rental. Old Port is about a 20 or so minute walk from here, but there are also a few very cool places to grab a bite and to shop that are walkable to this Munjoy Hill neighborhood. The bed is very comfortable and there’s tons of open closet space. The light at early morning and at sunset is just beautiful. I didn’t remember reading it in the listing but we did have to put down a security deposit and were notified about it one day before check in. I’m not sure if this is a Portland rental thing but we had never had to do that with an Airbnb before and I would have preferred a longer warning about it. Just a small red tape detail that changed the vibe a little. Otherwise, we loved it & really enjoyed our stay.

Amy was very helpful and communicative and generous with an end of season late checkout. We were in town to celebrate my Dad’s 85th and she even offered to help with balloons! The place was perfect for us with my young nephews. The unit was well stocked with plenty of kitchen tools and cookware and dishes. There were plenty of linens and towels available to us. Very convenient to pine point beach. We would love to visit here again if it worked with our schedule.

Shai’s place had everything we needed for a clean, comfortable stay! We loved the location and had plenty of space to relax inside the apartment with no noise from the street despite being so close to downtown. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again if traveling to Portland.

Don't go to a beach town and not stay on the beach! Incredibly beautiful location! The apt was absolutely perfect, and the decor was the ideal New England beach setting! Big, roomy and with two baths- we never felt crowed. The kitchen was well stocked, so we felt right at home. The beach chairs and beach towels made getting to the beach easy. A question or two popped up and they got back with us immediately!

We had a wonderful week stay in a town we’re familiar with. Our first time at Jessica’s place but we’d love to go back. Perfect spot for our small family. The listing matched what was in person. We had a small hiccup with our wifi but Jessica and her team were there to assist us quickly. We were worried with being in a building with other apartments it could get loud but we never heard any neighbors. Lots of beach equipment to use if needed. LOVED having laundry in unit. Nice new appliances. Comfy beds and a pack n play available for our son. One less thing to bring! Hope to stay at Jessica’s place again sometime!

Great location in So Portland! Loved the bakery across the street as well as the ice cream shop. We walked to the beach twice. Super close and quiet street! House was clean and so cute. We stayed two nights on our way home from Bar Harbor. We wished we would have been able to stay more. Had a question for David. Immediately called and took care of our need. Great places for families and your pet. Our pup enjoyed Willard Beach! Dog hours in the AM and the PM.

Rachel was extremely responsive. Her loft was spotless and our family really enjoyed the stay. Definitely will be back. Portland is amazing and Rachel’s place is the cherry on top! Thank you for having us!

Nick and Kyla’s place was wonderful. It was perfect for our group. It looked exactly like the photos, and it was very clean. The location was perfect for getting around the Portland area with many things right in walking distance. Our hosts were very friendly and responsive, and their instructions were clear. I would definitely recommend staying with them to others.
