The house was perfect for my family and I- plenty of open space for the kids to play and a great yard- even in December with cold weather the kids loved the play gym outside!! The location was amazing with lots of things to do within a few minutes and the food scene was great. Thanks to Ned for a spotless home and great amenities!! We can’t wait to come back in the summer to use the pool!!

We would 100% recommend Dina’s place to ANYONE (and we hope to be back)! The place is beautiful and would accommodate a small to large family. The pool and hot tub are incredibly nice and peaceful surrounded by trees. The furniture is incredibly comfortable and the kitchen great to use. Dina is also incredibly thoughtful and quick with her replies. We got a little turned around arriving at night (the GPS lead us up the road a bit), but we found it!

We had a wonderful stay in Angela’s beautiful home. It had great amenities, was super clean, and had everything we needed. Loved the pool and fire pit. The kitchen was roomy for cooking too. 5 stars!

Kathi’s place was great! Super close to the Downtown Portland/Old Port area. Kathi was a great host, extremely responsive and genuinely nice, plus she even made my family and I some delicious blueberry muffins for our stay! Her instructions were clear and she made us feel right at home! Would definitely stay again whenever we’re in the area!

My friends and I felt right at home with our stay. Everything was clean and bright. Kitchen was stocked with everything needed. Loved using the hot tub and sauna. Unfortunately experienced a cold snap with Maine warming up for the summer and had lots of rain/overcast but it did not stop us from enjoying the house. With the time of year there was not a lot to do as we were early for the summer activities and this house is close for skiing. But I would definitely visit again at the right time of year! Also loved that the host was so responsive. It kept me comfortable during our stay.

Top notch spot and host!! We had such a great time at Alexa’s lovely home! It was so cozy, beautifully decorated, modernized, and had all the essential items you’d need - plus it is completely pet friendly! Our dog loved the fenced in yard with a doggy door to get out to it. The sauna, endless pool, and hot tub are just amazing amenities to have on site - that sunroom was my favorite place in the house to say the least! Can’t say enough about it and Alexa, too! She is super friendly, responsive, and had great recommendations for fun and good food in the area. Overall, it was just a wonderful and relaxing experience for our first time on the Maine coast and we can’t wait to visit again!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in Holden, ME! This Airbnb was so nice and clean and pretty close to Acadia National Park. I needed to stay close to work in the park and this spot was the perfect distance away. It was quiet, peaceful, and away from tourist traffic. Also close to gas stations and a grocery store. The hosts were so friendly and nice and we would highly recommend anyone stay here! Thank you Dana + family!

We very much enjoyed our weekend stay at Alana’s camp. The kitchen had everything we needed and more, laundry products were available along with bathroom toiletries. Very clean and enjoyable. Spent a lot of time fishing from the shore line. We caught some white perch, yellow perch and sunfish 🎣 we enjoyed kayaking and roasting marshmallows for smores over the fire pit. There was wood available to use but would recommend bringing some of your own if you wanted to have a fire going for awhile. Lifejackets were available for the kids and some sand toys. Dog friendly, the dirt road was also great to walk the dog on. I would recommend bringing a long line for your dog while outside so they can be leashed and still swim and play. All light switches were labeled which was actually really nice. Extra blankets around for watching movies in the evening. Grill was all ready to go for dinner. We had an amazing time.

Simply magical! Cozy and fun space. We enjoyed watching eagles and ospreys fish, seals pop their heads up, and even an adorable family of foxes from the comfort of the living room! Kitchen had all necessities for cooking most meals at home. A nice trail for walking down the road and an awesome beach where the kids threw stones and searched for seaglass each afternoon. We were all sad to leave!

Adding to the many reviews that say how incredible this place is: an easy commute to Saddleback for those looking to ski (as well as into town and to the lakes, too). Brand new, beautiful place with a fully stocked kitchen that worked well for our three small families to spend a weekend together. Really appreciated the extra touches for children, including the dishes. While the weather was cold and rainy, we were able to all be comfortable and cozy by the fire inside. Thanks to Kyle for the opportunity to stay!

My wife and I came to see the autumn foliage in Maine and could not have wished for a more beautiful location. Boyd Lake was gorgeous, surrounded by the autumn trees which were reflected by the lake. The cabin had all the amenities required and the kitchen was very well equipped for cooking. Jenn and Eric were great hosts -- very responsive to our needs. We also took day trips to Bar Harbor and Camden, both very delightful. Highly recommended,

This was the best experience we’ve ever had with Airbnb. From start to finish, Christian’s communication was excellent. I honestly wish everyone were as communicative and proactive as he is. This place truly left a mark on us. Our experience was so amazing that we genuinely want to recommend it to everyone. It was impeccable full of thoughtful details. We reconnected deeply. Everything was just perfect. I didn’t want to leave. The details won me over, and the intentionality behind this place is something truly special. I’m genuinely in love with this place. 💛

This house was amazing—hosts really have thought of everything when it comes to guest experience! Kayaking out to the tiny islands in the bay a couple times allowed us to see horseshoe crabs and bald eagles up close. The fire pit was great and the “s’mores station” with supplies in the kitchen upon arrival was so cute and thoughtful. Our three kids loved this place and didn’t want to leave at the end of the week. Our boys especially loved the lower level game room with ping-pong, arcade games, and pop-a-shot. The kids also loved reading on the sofa in the upstairs loft overlooking the kitchen. The kitchen is well stocked and we cooked dinner there a couple times during the week. The hosts gave great local recommendations as well—the craft beer at Fogtown Brewing in Ellsworth (less than 15-min. drive) is excellent, and it is very kid-friendly with a large outdoor eating area and wood-fired pizza. We’d love to return to this house! Mosquitoes are fierce so bring bug repellent.

I had a lovely visit with a good friend. The air bnb stood out to us because of how beautiful the photos were and they didn’t do the place justice. It was so nice to stay in a place that felt like it was cut from a magazine. The home is in a private space but not far from restaurants and other towns with cute shops. We were close to lots of hiking trails and coastlines. I am quite sure I’ll be back!

We had an incredible stay at the Blue Hill Bay house! Nestled in a peaceful wooded setting, the home feels wonderfully secluded, yet inviting. The expansive windows, especially from the top floor loft, make you feel like you’re living in a treehouse. We loved spending evenings around the fire pit, which is surrounded by thoughtfully curated plants, creating a truly magical atmosphere. The grill was easy to use, making outdoor meals a breeze. Inside, the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms spotless. We also appreciated how thoughtfully designed the space was, especially since it's hard to find a cute place that also warmly welcomes dogs. If you’re considering a stay here, don’t hesitate, this place is a gem! We can’t wait to return.

All the previous reviews indicated we would love this location, the setting, the caring of the host....we were inspired to join Airbnb to just be able to stay here!!! The beauty of the surroundings is remarkable and we admire the care taken to keep it in its refined natural state. We are so thankful we took the description and reviews to heart! We now have another great Maine memory!

Just got back from our weekend stay . Beautiful space that looked just like the photos. House was spotless. The house is located in a very peaceful and private area. Our family enjoyed the kayaks on the pond during the day and the fire pit on the deck at night . Very relaxing weekend .

We booked our stay super last minute (same day) and were accommodated with a wonderful stay at Darryl's house. The views were gorgeous!!! Coffee on the porch over looking the pond and mountains was the best way to start the day. We traveled with kids and dogs - there was something for everyone! Beautiful house, great communication, overall a great stay! If you're thinking about it, book the trip! We can't wait to visit again :)

This place is BEAUTIFUL and exceptionally well furnished and equipped. Of all AirBnBs I have stayed in over the years, this one is top three for sure. It really felt like a home, and the quality of the crockery, furniture, and bedding made us feel very trusted and respected as guests. On top of this, Jeremiah and Lisseth at Birch Rentals were very responsive and helpful - we had no problem getting in or checking out and had a good idea of where to go locally from their guidebook! All in all, it was a very peaceful and cozy stay for my partner and I - we immediately missed Maine when we got back home.
