A fantastic stay, exactly what was described and the property is beautiful. A great tranquil and peaceful stop on my journey. Definitely check out the trail leading to the view at the top, stunning!

This was an amazing place to stay while enjoying the fall weather in Vermont. The location was very quiet and peaceful, surrounded by trees and across the road from the Connecticut River. Waterford itself doesn’t have much going on (which I liked!) but St. Johnsbury and Littleton are within 15-20min and have everything you need. The house was beautifully updated with all amenities needed for a comfortable autumn week, including a fully-equipped kitchen, laundry machines, fireplace, and a lovely screened porch + front deck to enjoy the weather. The bedrooms were comfortable and bright, I’d recommend bringing an eye mask since the windows didn’t have curtains. I loved the member-only area - it was worth the extra cost for the river access with private beach and boats/SUPs. I only went on my final day, but I wish I had spent every evening down on the dock by the river to watch the sunset! Overall I loved staying here and would recommend it to anyone looking for some peace and quiet

Not sure how they knew oatmeal raisin cookies were my favorite. As They were very tasty cookies. The wine was exceptional. The place has a nice comfy sitting area with a TV and board games. It really does feel like home. We will return.

This was the perfect place to get away for a quick trip up north with a family of 5 to explore the ice castles and slopes. Great alternative if you prefer private and want to escape the crowds at the mountain resorts. Thank you to Will and Linda for the their hospitality. We will be back!
