Saartje and her husband are fantastic hosts who made me feel at home throughout my stay. They’re a warm and attentive couple who go above and beyond for their guests. The house is entirely independent, very clean, spacious, and equipped with everything needed. The kitchen has all essentials, the bright living room offers stunning views of nature, and waking up to see the beautiful white mare in the adjacent field is a true delight. The bed is spacious and comfortable, and the peace and quiet are unmatched. This tranquil location in Waanrode makes it easy to visit cities like Diest, Sint Truiden, Tienen, Leuven, and even Brussels, just 50 km away. I stayed here for a peaceful work retreat, and it exceeded my expectations. The combination of serenity and excellent connectivity makes it perfect for any kind of trip. I’m incredibly grateful for the wonderful week I spent and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend to anyone seeking a peaceful oasis!

Sam and Berlinde were so friendly and welcoming and the house was just what I wanted ... immaculate and spacious...plenty of cooking facilities and the supermarket only a stones throw away. I will definitely stay here again when next in Tienen. Elaine

Nancy and her husband were really good hosts, helpful and nice. Nancy even prepared for me some soup and bread, because I came to Belgium on Sunday's evening. I can strongly recommend this place and I hope I will have a choice to be their guest in the future :)

This is a beautiful, nicely decorated apartment in the green overlooking deer and chickens. Often in airbnbs you can mainly cook theoretically (and then there are no cutting boards or spatulas), but here everything is really well thought out: herbs, oil, a combi microwave, even a garlic press. A wonderful place with hiking trails around the corner. Sven and his family are very friendly and helpful. We were here with a small child and the baby cot was already built in the ideal place and equipped with cheerful sheets. We had come by public transportation and that's pretty fine. Bus 44 runs once an hour (except on Sundays), but you can also walk fifteen minutes to bus 40 or 42 - which go together about every fifteen minutes via the station into the center of Leuven. Sven even offered us to borrow a bike or ride to a shop, but that was not necessary. You have to do a little tactical shopping because the supermarket is a ±25-minute walk.
