The studio is situated in a very lively area of Ghent. As it is very close to Oudburg, Patershol and St Jacobs, you will find dozens of restaurants and bars just around the corner. The studio itself has a very quiet position at the third floor, next
“The studio is very nice and very clean ! Kristof also gave us some tips about the neighboorood, so it was very helpful. the flat is well placed very close from the city-center. The two/three things that might be known is the stairs who are very high and the hallway not so clean (it make a contrast with the flat who is perfectly clean and welcoming). The hallway stink smoke who can be distrubing if you have very big asthma as me. The bed is just a sofa-changing bed and the matrass is not very comfortable but we still have good sleep (thanks for the amazing pillows). The place can be cold during night and there is no heating in the bathroom. Maybe it could be good to put an extra-blanket in case of cold night. Otherwise, I recomand this place to visit Gent !”
On the beautiful lake of Genval, the ideal place to spend a night, a week end or a week, Sarabande offers jacuzzi, TV, WiFi, large sofa bed, kitchen, shower with a panoramic view, south facing terrace; bicycles and massage (extra)
“A few minutes from the city, the calm, the beauty of the place, the careful layout, the facilities available and the atmosphere of the place will make you have a wonderful time!”
A bright and nicely Art-Nouveau decorated room with all the necessities for a pleasant stay located on the first floor of a Belle-époque house in a calm residential neighbourhood; just a 10 minutes walk from Gent-Dampoort train station (also served by Flixxbus and Eurolines) and a 20 minutes walk to the wonderful historic centre. Also in the immediate vicinity, there are facilities available. All directions to discover the city will be put at your disposal. Looking forward to welcoming you.
“I've had a very pleasant stay here! The house and the room are all in art-deco/ nouveau-style (sorry Firat, I never know the difference, you have to explain me next time), very creative and authentic. It's an old building so expect a bit creaky wooden floors, but it's also part of the charm. It's about a 20-25 minutes walk to the city-center. The room was clean, spacious and cozy. Firad was very welcoming and friendly. When I asked for an iron, he offered to bring one and when I came home later he had set up an ironing board in my room. I'd definately recomment this place.”
