Monthly Rentals in Long Island

Where do I start!? We traveled to Maine with zero plans and quickly decided to make our long weekend a road trip. We booked this location the day of and the host immediately started helping us make plans for a ferry. We are NOT camping people but this was an amazing experience! The host picked us up from the ferry and took us right up to the door of the yurt. It was a chilly evening and she made sure to turn on the electric blanket and made sure we had enough fuel for the heater. The next morning she let us borrow two bikes and we rode to the general store for breakfast (very tasty and nice dogs, staff were wonderful as well!) and then to the beach. All the locals we met were very friendly! When it was time to leave the host was gracious enough to give us a tour of the island. We very much enjoyed staying here and will recommend it to everyone! Thank you SO much! This will go down as one of our favorite Airbnbs.

Rachel’s place was extremely clean and comfortable. It was the perfect place to spend a snowy and stormy day with our pup. Very convenient to get to Portland. Close to grocery store and anything you might need. Rachel was very quick to respond when we had questions and had ice melt delivered for us same day which was a huge help in the storm.

This was our second time staying at Richard's condo on Long Island, and we loved it just as much as the first time. The location and views cannot be beat! As others noted, about the island in general, you'll want to come with some food, coffee, and supplies as the market is small and there is only one (though delicious) restaurant otherwise. Can't wait to be back next year! 🤞🏻

Fantastic place for a month long stay! The place is tastefully decorated and light. The towels and bedding were all soft and comfortable. Having all the little bits like soap and dish supplies was really great too. I really liked the couch, it was so comfy for a movie night and the Nespresso machine was a blessing in the mornings. Street parking was okay as long as you find the right windows to park up and the amazing food and drink within 50m of the door is mind blowing. Big shout out The Shop, Lil Chippy and Bellflower Brewery!!! Awesome airbnb, the wifi and door code entry was so smooth and consistent.
