Monthly Rentals in Long Beach

The cottage was so cute, the back porch was so cozy and comfortable, the kitchen well stocked and everything was clean. The walk to the beach was so pleasant and super close, the hot tub was private and clean. We had a romantic weekend for two but this would be perfect for a young family, for some very relaxing beach time. The host was so gracious and responsive and the location so convenient from DC.

I had a fantastic stay! The space was so cozy and comfortable. I loved the surrounds outside as well, it felt like a secret garden and was so serene and peaceful. I can’t say enough good things about this space. I’d absolutely love to visit again! Julie was wonderful too, she provided clear instructions and really thought of everything! The guest book was thorough and so were her messages. No guess work necessary which is so appreciated!

Overall, fabulous spot! PROS: - absolutely beautiful location. About 100 steps to the beach, and a beautiful quiet neighborhood for going on walks. - only about 15-20 mins from tons of waterfront restaurants, docks, ports, and an awesome boardwalk along the water. This was our favorite spot! - very clean and kitchen was well stocked - super comfy bed CONS: - there are lots of heavily fragranced items everywhere (plug ins, soaps, detergents, etc). If you’re sensitive to fragrance this place may not be for you. - we were woken up constantly by the sounds of chirping birds on the roof (even at midnight one night). Would recommend bringing earplugs. - the shades in the bedroom don’t do much to block out the very bright sun. We ran out to buy eye masks after our first night because we woke up with the sunrise. Overall: clean, well stocked, affordable, and well located. A great spot!

This is a lovely and friendly home - which is no surprise as it matches my impression of the owners! My family created a spontaneous plan to visit this area and Terri & Bo accommodated us very graciously despite the short notice. Their home is lovely, well-equipped and designed for family fun. It is convenient to all the wonderful activities in the area, in particular the fossil hunting, which was the draw for our crew. Although we found fossil's on our own, Terri's information directed us to a guide who was extremely knowledgable and added a great deal to our experience. I would highly recommend this home for a getaway at any time of year. The area is well-known as a summer destination, but we visited over New Year's and loved exploring the beautiful beaches in the off-season.
